Disney Discounts for Military
As a thank you for their service, Disney offers members of the Military special discounted rates for their Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme park tickets as well as discounts on Resort hotel stays and Disney Cruise Line vacations. The discounts availabe for Disney Cruise Line sailings are updated each week so if you're looking at a cruise, be sure to check back weekly as the new discounts are released. The Walt Disney World has its own Military Resort, Shades of Green, which is specifically for members of the U.S. Military and their families to utilize.

Shades of Green
In a secluded area near the Magic Kingdom, sandwiched between the Magnolia and Palm golf courses, sits the Shades of Green Resort. The Shades of Green was originally built as a deluxe Walt Disney World Resort and was formerly known as the Disney Inn. In February 1994, the Department of Defense leased the resort for exclusive use by retired and active military personnel and their families, members of the reserves and the National Guard, as well as Department of Defense civilians. The name, "Shades of Green" signifies the camouflage uniforms worn by the armed forces without singling out any one particular branch. The resort is fully self-supporting and operates with non-appropriated funds. All profits are turned back into the resort for improvements to the accommodations and services. **NOTE - Shades of Green requires notice of cancellation at least 30-days prior to arrival, or your credit card will be charged an amount equal to one night's stay.

To enter a theme park, both a valid ticket and a park reservation for that park are required. Before purchasing this ticket, check that reservations are available for this ticket for the date(s) and park(s) you would like to visit. Make your reservations immediately after purchasing your ticket because reservations are limited, and you may not be able to get a reservation for your desired date or park.
- Park reservations are subject to availability of reservations allocated to this ticket as determined by Disney, and park capacity. Reservation availability is not guaranteed. Reservations may be unavailable for any particular date or park, especially as you get closer to the date of visit or ticket expiration date. The actual prices charged at the individual US military base ticket offices for Disney Military Salute Tickets may be less than the prices set forth above.
- "Eligible Service Members" are active or retired members of the US Military, including the National Guard, Reservists, the US Coast Guard, the US Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Spouses of Eligible Military Service Members also qualify if they can present valid and active US Military IDs.
- Eligible Service Members (or their spouses) must present valid military identification to purchase and use Disney Military Salute Tickets.
- Disney Military Salute Tickets are not valid until activated by the Eligible Service Member (or their spouse) at a Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket window.
- No more than a total of 6 Disney Military Salute Tickets may be purchased by any Eligible Service Member or their spouse (regardless of the place of purchase and whether purchased by that person or that person's spouse). In addition, 1 of the 6 Tickets purchased must be used by the Eligible Service Member or their spouse. Or, if the Eligible Service Member or their spouse has a valid Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass at the time of purchase and at the time a Ticket is used, then such Eligible Service Member or their spouse is not required to purchase a Ticket for their use and no more than a total of 5 Tickets may be purchased by such Eligible Service Member or their spouse (regardless of the place of purchase and whether purchased by that person or that person’s spouse).

Military Memory Maker Discount
Active and retired U.S. military personnel or their spouses including active or retired members of the National Guard, Reservists, the U.S. Coast Guard, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) (“Eligible Service Members”) can purchase the Memory Maker product for a special price — $98 through December 19, 2025.
- The specially-priced Memory Maker product can only be purchased at Walt Disney World theme park ticket windows by Eligible Service Members (defined below) or their spouse.
- “Eligible Service Members” are active or retired members of the US military, including the National Guard, Reservists, the US Coast Guard, the US Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Valid military identification required for purchase. Spouses of Military Service Members and PHS and NOAA Commissioned Corps members also qualify if they are able to present valid and active US Military IDs in the absence of active or retired Military Personnel or Commissioned Corps members.
- No more than two (2) Memory Maker products may be purchased by an Eligible Service Member or their spouse (but not both).
- Memory Maker includes photos taken during the Memory Maker Window as defined in the Memory Maker Terms and Conditions (generally, photos taken within 30 days from the date of first activation for standard Memory Maker and linked to the Guest’s Disney PhotoPass account).
- A MagicBand, or an eligible mobile device with Bluetooth technology enabled for the My Disney Experience app, is required to receive certain attraction photos and other digital content.

Military Tickets for beyond Disney World
Two of the more popular the attractions in the Orlando area offer discounts to active Military members. Anheuser Busch offers special rates at both Busch Gardens and Sea World through the Hero Salute program.
Disneyland Discounts for Military Personnel – This discount is for room only reservations at the Disneyland Resort. Availability is limited. We recommend that you book early if you qualify for this discount. The discount is offered to all active and retired military and Disneyland will require a valid Military ID at check-in to receive the discount.
