The cast members were always there to help. I hope when we go in again in 2020, we are able to get the same room. It is a stretch up I have to say room 4565 was and is the best.

- Overall Impression: I hadn't been to Disney for a few years and based on reviews I had read, I expected more. It's a nice hotel. That said, Disney's definition of deluxe and my definition of deluxe differ somewhat. I think it's popular because of it's proximity to a couple of the parks as well as the Boardwalk and of course, Stormalong Bay. Based on how my niece and I spend our time, I've opted to stay at Pop on our next trip. With the rehab at Pop and how infrequently we're actually in our room, I can't see the value in spending $2000+ more for the week a deluxe resort. Do I prefer deluxe resorts? Duh! But when it's just me and a preteen who doesn't know the difference, Pop Century it is!

Found the walls extremely thin though, were woken at 5.30am one morning by our next door neighbour having a phone call that we heard every word of! Room and bed comfortable and roomy. Lovely lobby and staff all very nice. Quick service food options very limited. We found it took 2 or 3 buses in a morning to be able to get in, especially Magic Kingdom as they stop at Yacht Club first.

- Overall Impression: For my first stay "inside the parks" at a Disney Resort, my first stay at a DVC resort, I was very impressed. The DVC Studio Villa I was in was really nice and the location of Beach Club is ideal for Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The problem is when you need to take the bus somewhere - then it is not as ideal, but this is likely true of all resorts. To be able to walk to 1 park and take a quick boat to a 2nd is a huge plus in my opinion - there aren't many resorts that can say this!

- Overall Impression: If you have the money to splurge, I recommend staying here for the close proximity to Epcot and the boat ride to Hollywood Studios. It's a beautiful area and it's really enjoyable to walk around the Epcot resorts at night. There is a lot to see and do within a short walk from your room. Highly recommend especially if you like enjoying some lounging time at the resort!

The room was so clean and beautiful and the club level cast members were wonderful. This resort is so peaceful. i could have stayed at the beach club for a week without leaving and been happy. The closeness to Epcot and Hollywood studios is a plus. The only negative is that if you are not staying club level food options are very limited. I think the BC has spoiled me.

I didn't however..realize that Villas are in the back with no views. We fell in love in the hotel side with a water view. It was near perfection. I would have still bought but was somewhat taken aback at the lack of view and drab "studio"we had. We are staying in a 2 bedroom in May 2021 so looking forward to that!

For the prices charged, I would stay elsewhere. I know the pool is amazing but honestly for the same money I would rather better service and a clean room than a good pool. Disney is really making it hard to justify staying in the deluxe resorts.

- Overall Impression: The Genie+ system is beset with flaws and bugs, and when it does work, it is not fit for purpose. By 10 minutes past seven most of the best attractions are no longer available and many times the app crashed before we could view what is available. We kept trying to get it to work, which meant that we could not enjoy breakfast at the hotel. The children were disappointed when we realised that we could not get access to their favourite rides without joining a line that would take hours. Getting to the parks as early as possible to join lines causes difficulties for some family members. Our parents are in their 70’s and find it difficult to walk. All of this sometimes lead to arguments about what we should be doing, or to separate.
On the day that we successfully booked Genie+ we managed to get on just three attractions using it. On subsequent days we decided that it’s better to get in line and wait rather than attempting to use Genie+. This meant very long waiting times, which is something we were able to avoid on previous visits.
The same difficulties occur with the Individual Lightning Lane attractions. This is similar to Genie+ because it is also available to book from 7am and also suffers with the same problems of app stability, and availability running out shortly after 7am.
Unfortunately the stress that all of this made the trip far less enjoyable. We have visited regularly over the past 15 years, and it is a great shame for us that we would not want to come again if it meant using the Genie system.
All of the advertising material I saw before the trip convinced us that the Genie system would be helpful and enable us to enjoy more. The reality is that the opposite is true, and it looks like Disney does not understand the needs of customers like ourselves in implementing Genie+. It is an inferior, less enjoyable way to enjoy less in Disney World.

- Overall Impression: First time ever we were all disappointed in restaurants and food, Portions were fine, we will gladly pay for GOOD QUALITY of food, Beaches and Cream shakes had 2VERY VERY STALE CUPCAKES ON TOP. gRANDSONS HAD TO THROW THEM OUT - FOR $31.70.
