Having instant access to the Magic Kingdom was a huge plus. Was able to walk to MK for a solo morning while waiting for my girlfriend to arrive.
Top of the World Lounge was such a nice place to sit back, relax, have a drink, and watch the fireworks. Wasn’t crowded at all and had zero issues finding a seat.
Only major criticism is the lack of dining options in the building itself. Having to walk over to Contemporary just to fill the refillable mugs and get food was kinda annoying after the first day.
Would absolutely stay there again. So far it’s my favorite DVC resort that I’ve stayed in.
Overall, I’d say it’s a 9/10 from me.

- Overall Impression: We joke that we are afraid we have been spoiled by our first visit as DVC members because of the quality of our stay at Bay Lake Tower. We loved both being walking distance from the excitement of the parks yet felt like we were able to escape and relax in the Tower. My husband mentioned he wouldn't like to stay at the Contemporary bc you don't really escape the crowds and noise but loved the Tower. We own at Copper Creek but keep an eye on resale points for Bay Lake Tower. We are taking our mothers' for Grandma's trip January 26th at DAK Lodge - Kidani. We shall see if we feel the same way after our stay there.

- Overall Impression: Definitely not my favorite. I’d only stay here again if walking to MK is a must do. Even some of the firework/castle viewing areas I found disappointing. A lot of concrete. Top of the World lounge is lovely, Chef Mickeys is fun for the kids, Cali Grill and The Wave are great, but I think dining may be the only reason I’ll return here.

- Overall Impression: I love the subtlety of BLT Disney touches. The contemporary feeling of the rooms is calm and comfortable. We had groceries delivered, and the bell staff was very "gentle" in reminding me that there was a "receiving" charge attached, which I already knew, and they kept things cold for us and delivered them promptly when asked to do so.

All food and beverage amenities are located in the Contemporary—which is the biggest drawback. Would love some options (AND DRINK FILL STATIONS) in the tower. Other than that, pretty amazing.

- Overall Impression: We had a great trip and I am glad that we stayed at Bay Lake. My family consisted of myself, my wife, and my two kids (8 and 6) staying in a 1-bedroom. I thought that the room was spacious and beautiful. While we didn’t have the spectacular room views since we were in a standard view on the first floor, there are spectacular views to be found all over the resort. We had a great experience with cast members, loved the convenience to Magic Kingdom, and enjoyed all of the resort amenities and activities. However, we were a little disappointed in the transportation to the other parks and the price point of some of the food options. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for families with young children.

It also had a front load washer that held a lot of clothes in it's own laundry room with extra storage. A total of 4 bathrooms is also great for larger groups. I would absolutely stay here again.

- Overall Impression: I loved staying at BLT. The location was super convenient and loved having access to all the amenities at the Contemporary Resort. My Lake view was great. I watched the water pageant every night from my balcony and the sunrises at Bay Lake were spectacular.
Top of The World Lounge is an amazing perk at this Hotel. Went there almost every night.
The feel is more of a “Convention Hotel”
but the location makes up for the lack of theming.

- Overall Impression: BLT studio rooms really need to be refurbished in a bad way. Everything looks worn out and the room is lacking in newer amenities, which are in most of the resorts we have stayed at on property. The room we stayed in had no USB plugs, a very small old TV, plus the room was very small. They need to reconfigure the studio rooms to make it have more living space. The large kitchenette is a waste of space in my opinion. The only thing this place has going for it is that you can walk to the Magic Kingdom and watch the fireworks from the resort.

- Overall Impression: Stayed here DVC over a race weekend for a girls weekend. The room was amazing and the view incredible! We used the pool and although it gets shaded fast, there was no shortage of pool chairs. Dining options are all over at the Contemporary (save a pool bar and the top of the world lounge) which can get old if you just want to run and grab a quick bite. Overall I would stay here again, especially if doing a runDisney event.

- Overall Impression: Loved. 3 adults in a one bedroom which gave us 2 full bathrooms. My nephew and I went to the Halloween party and my 83 year old Mom stayed behind. She walked over to the Contemporary and had supper and chatted with people. The staff was awesome to her and she watched the fireworks in comfort. She was so happy.

- Overall Impression: I love this resort. I wish I could have stayed here my whole trip, but I had two nights at boulder ridge booked after. This was by far the best studio layout I have ever stayed in. I absolutely love that even though it's only a kitchenette, it is still a galley kitchen setup. It doesn't feel like a toaster and a coffee pot thrown on a shelf in the hallway of the room. I also love the the bathroom sink is actually in the bathroom. The view was the best on property. Beautiful view of the Grand Floridian, Seven Seas Lagoon, and of coarse Magic Kingdom. The only thing I didn't like about staying on that side of the resort, and I can't speak for the lake view side, but you get a lot of noise, especially in the morning. You have magical expresses, mears busses, and the loading dock for the Contemporary is also right in front of you. Other than that, it was a great stay and can't wait to experience it again and for a longer period of time as well

- Overall Impression: It's hard to be objective because we were in a theme park view one bedroom. The room was great and we took our time leaving the next day. I love that it has two FULL bathrooms! Definitely a bonus. Pro-tip from our cast member at check-in: the pull out chair is more comfortable than the sofa and generally gets used less. He was quite tall (6'3"?) and said he was very comfortable in those chairs. My friend put her pillows at the other end of the chair so she could stare at the castle all night.

- Overall Impression: It’s a favorite for me which is why we bought here. I am a Disney lover and magic kingdom will always be my number one park. In my opinion this resort is the closest thing to feeling like you are staying in the actual magic kingdom. The monorail and chef mickeys are disney icons to our family so even just walking across the bridge into the main contemporary building gives us major disney happy vibes.

Bus service needs a monitor to call in a bus, for the looooong lines waiting groups as the better resorts have. It was always a extremely long wait if, a park was where our reservation was. Multiple buses for the no line group kept coming by.
