- Overall Impression: I like Pop Century a lot. It’s definitely my favorite of the Value resorts. The Skyliner made transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios a breeze, and the buses were efficient.
My room was always clean.
The Cast Members were all friendly and helpful.

- Overall Impression: Really enjoyed the over the top themes at Pop Century. We stayed at the 90's wing and the kids loved the giant cell phone and also the pool as it was not as crowed as the main pool. Having the ability to check in electronically was awesome. Since we had magic bands, we did not have to go to the front desk at all.

- Overall Impression: This was our second time staying at POP with a few other places in between. I think things changed between stays and I didn't like that this is now a group resort. It used to be this was off that selection list but as more groups want to stay on site, this makes regular guests like me think twice. If that's the strategy to get me to pay more it's a shady way to make money.

- Overall Impression: Disney Pop Century is by far best Value Resort. The newly re-furbished rooms are excellent. Beds were outstanding! Pool area was nice, nothing spectacular. Food area had plenty of space, easy access to refill mugs, and met quick service dining needs. Bus Transportation is dedicated but during peak Spring Break time you may still have to wait some time between buses; just be an early bird to park to avoid chaos. Preferred Room location is a must if you want to minimize walking long distance to room.

- Overall Impression: I stay at Value Resorts, primarily Pop Century because of dedicated Buses and the cost. I love the new rooms with the Murphy beds, so much more room. The cost of the rooms have gone up a lot from the last time I went in 2010 so I can't go as often as I would like. I've stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Caribbean Beach but they are overpriced for me since I am more interested in the parks then the rooms. Overall I love Pop Century and am saving up for another trip in a few years. I highly recommend this hotel since it is not far from any of the parks and now has the Skyliner.

Overall everything was great but the bus line issue (coupled with the early skyliner closing so we couldn’t take that instead to EC and DHS) really made us not want to come back :( It never used to be like this at Pop. - Overall Impression: I believe this is the best of the value resorts when you factor in price. The rooms are great, the hotel is clean and staff members are friendly and helpful. The Skyliner adds a whole new level of value to this resort. It would be the perfect value resort if the food court was better. If you plan to eat at the resort often, I wouldn't recommend staying here. For anyone who normally stays off property or at the All-Stars, I think you'll get a significant upgrade spending the extra money to stay here.

- Overall Impression: Pop Century has been our favorite for quite some time. This is our 3rd stay. We like the All Star resorts, but there is something special about Pop. We love the theming, and are particularly excited about the Skyliner. It was not running during our trip, but we hope to take advantage of ot it the next time we visit.

- Overall Impression: I know I’m one of the few who didn’t LOVE Pop. And it absolutely is a nice resort. It’s a decent price, clean, has most of the amenities of other on property resorts. My biggest complaints were the food and the resort it self could get loud at night. The quality of food at the value resort is definitely different then at a deluxe resort, and to be honest I didn’t expect that. I thought it would be more consistent with being “quick service.”
We were in a standard room, plenty far enough from the main building and pools. But my feelings were that with the hard floors in all the rooms the sound just travels now. So with all the late night events at the parks you hear people walking, talking, showering...everything until late at night.

- Overall Impression: Pop is a great value. Small nice room, great pool and play pad, classic hall wonderful, some transportation slow with Hollywood studios, terrific way to save a lot of money. The best at Pop compared to least expensive room at other resorts is $400 or more PER night - we can do many more experiences, shop much more by saving big on our room. Pop is a great place and you can save a great amount of money!!

- Overall Impression: Most reviews of Pop Century are good and is considered the best of the value resorts. I did my homework, but I will not stay there again. I would much rather stay at Movies or Music and get the same food, but have much better transportation.

- Overall Impression: POP is one of the best value hotels. I love it. I have been staying here since they first opened. I love the theme and the layout is easy. You aren't walking long distances. You also have the Art of Animation across the bridge with the gondolas. So what is there not to love. The only issue will always be the buses and the location for each pick up. My advice, use Uber or Lyft on days that you are just too beat.

We purchased DVC years ago for family vacations, for the extra space and convenience of having a kitchen. If all 6 of us were planning a trip I would opt for a DVC, 2br at AKL, etc over Pop Century.

I usually stay at a moderate resort and was nervous going value. However, it was a very nice clean resort. Buses arrived at reasonable times all the time. We really enjoyed the skyliner too! Walking distances were reasonable and the décor was fun. We did not use the pool or partake in the recreational activities at the resort. I would recommend to anyone.

We had to take Ubers multiple days because the waits for buses were so long. When leaving the park in the evenings we usually just took a bus to Art of animation and walked across the bridge because the lines waiting for AOA buses were so much shorter. I'm pretty sure the money that we saved on staying at this resort we spent on Uber transportation. Hopefully now that the skyliner is running the situation will be improved.

After the 1st night and the issue with bell services it left a bad taste in our mouth, but now looking back and being removed from the frustration that caused I really did enjoy our time there. The renovated rooms were great and we were able to move about comfortably with 4 of us there and needing a pack n play in the room. Although I haven't experienced the skyliner yet, that's a game changer for me and I don't see myself staying at any other value resort.

- Overall Impression: The new rooms here are fabulous. They are clean, large and comfortable. We booked this room with the plan of spending minimal time at the resort. We basically just slept here and it was perfect. It was clean and very comfortable and quiet.
The buses came frequently and the gift shop had a large assortment of great items.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a split stay in the middle of the trip due to limited availability at pop and they made sure it was a seamless transition over to carribean beach.
If you don’t plan on using the resort pool or resort dining this is the place for you! It’s adorable and the rooms are great!

Even if you're a "parks all day, only gonna use the room to sleep in" type of person, you're still gonna want a nice place to sleep and shower in at the end of the day. Especially for what you're paying at Disney. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you. Also when people flush a toilet in the next room, you get to hear that too and sometimes even get woken up by it. Like I said, it's not bad for a quick trip and if you manage to get it at a good price. However consider spending a little more on a Moderate for a more elevated experience.

I had a corner room overlooking the lake that was 2 mins walk from the food court (I didn't pay for preferred so this surprised me). The cast members were wonderful & I loved walking over to AoA. - Overall Impression: I love Pop Century. It's one of my favorite Disney resorts, along with Port Orleans French Quarter. I've stayed at many of the Disney resorts in all categories and, since I like to spend most of my time in the parks, it meets my needs perfectly. Having the Skyliner makes it even better because you can use that to get to two of the parks plus be able to go to the Boardwalk in the evening. If you want to spend a lot of time at the resort and want a pool with a waterslide or a table service restaurant, then it might not be ideal, but otherwise, I highly recommend it.

- Overall Impression: I really enjoyed my stay at Pop Century. But come with the expectation that it is a Value Resort. The rooms are nicer than Caribbean Beach which is a Moderate resort and sorely needs a refurb - but it lacks some of the amenities that Caribbean Beach has like a bus stop for every block of buildings, Multiple Coke Freestyle Machines in each block are the major ones though. But if you get the right room close to the Skyliner and Classic Hall (60's is the best, followed by 50's or 70's) - then it is not a big deal at all since it is a short walk to everything. As expected in a Value Resort, the walls are thin and if there is a baby crying next door or people talking loudly you can hear it through the walls. Make sure to install a White Noise app on your phone to help drown it out. The Motel style rooms are also not my favorite - the view out the window is basically useless since it always looks out into the "hallway" for the motel and then beyond that is whatever your view is, so I always keep the curtains shut. Cleanliness was just OK, I was surprised they don't sweep or vacuum the floors at all (see comments on room cleanliness).
With all that said - this is still a great value and has a lot of pluses - the biggest being the Skyliner. With the Skyliner now you have easy access to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot - a huge plus. The rooms were also recently refurbished, and they are really nice. Nicer than Caribbean Beach for sure and probably other Moderate resorts.
Pop Century also has elevators for when you're bringing your luggage to your room - something Caribbean Beach is lacking.
Overall, I thought Pop Century was a good value for the money and with the Skyliner the location is great. I would give the hotel a 7/10!

- Overall Impression: We did have trouble at booking I wanted to share. I booked A standard view room over the phone and asked for a room close to the Hippie Dippie pool.We were going to be spending a lot of time at Hollywood studios and wanted close access to the Skyliner.
I was up-sold by the cast member to get a pool view room so that we could guarantee to be close to the pool. We were upgraded to a “standard pool view” room. When I referenced Touringplans.com, I realized the “standard pool view” room was for the other 2 pools, farthest away from the Skyliner! Essentially she upgraded us to something worse then we asked for and paid more money for it! When I called back to change the reservation, all the “Preferred pool view’ rooms were gone. I did try calling multiple times, oh well.
We stayed there because of the value and the Skyliner but lucky for us and thanks to The DVC Show, we have now purchased DVC property! Yay!

- Overall Impression: Been coming to Disney my whole life, but this was my first on-site stay! It was just as magical as I'd hoped it would be, and Pop Century fits the bill for a Value priced resort that doesn't feel "cheap". The addition of the Skyliner since then definitely makes this resort a top contender in it's category.

- Overall Impression: We had a good day at Epcot with the festival. Almost all were following covid protocol at Epcot and HS, but the Magic Kingdom was another story and we left not long after we arrived. It felt like we were still at home except the weather was warmer. The mask was uncomfortable at 80 degrees, so I wouldn't come when it's hotter. Probably will cancel our July trip and maybe come back in November.

- Overall Impression: We have always enjoyed this resort. The theming is great and we have always had great experiences with cast members. Not too big, so even when we stayed a few buildings away from the main building we were only a few minutes walk away. The food court is ok, but the gift shop is great! Also, having easy skyliner access was a plus!

- Overall Impression: This is our third time staying in Pop Resorts. The first time was great- no issues. The second time we had some sort of larva in our room. Told the front desk and nothing was done about it. This last time, we again had worms in our room but we were also located in the back corner of the hotel. I really don’t mind that, except that that is where you keep your dirty towel carts. We didn’t mind walking past them, but the odor of wet and dirty towels on a hot day was horrible. The ice machine area on the first floor smelled horribly of urine. They also power washed our side of the hotel at 9am so, since we like to sleep in, we were awakened by the machines and water being sprayed. While we understand this needs to be done at times, a little heads up in the form of a note on the door would have been appreciated.

While every park and Disney Springs felt uncomfortably packed with people during the week we were there, the hotel did not. It was a pleasant respite at the end of each hectic day.
