Disney's Vero Beach Resort opened on October 1, 1995. This resort is located on Florida's gorgeous Treasure Coast and features many activities to satisfy everyone in the family from watching sea turtles nesting during certain times of the year to boutique shopping and some of Florida's top golf courses.
The resort also features character dining, casual dining, as well as two lounges. The Mickey-shaped feature pool is home of the Pirate's Plunge pool slide and Tiger Lily—a child-sized treasure ship. There is even a 9-hole miniature-golf course, too!
Vero Beach has 18 dedicated 2-bedroom villas, 36 Lockoffs (each of which can be divided
into a studio and a 1-bedroom), six 3-bedroom Beach Cottages, and 112 Inn rooms.
The Deluxe Inn rooms are designated as Garden View (vegetation and parking views)
and Ocean View. There are a total of 10 buildings. The resort is very small and everything is a very, very easy walk.
Room and Villa Descriptions
Disney's Vero Beach Resort offers Deluxe studio units as well as one, two, and three bedroom beachfront cottage accommodations. The interior furnishings can be described as beachy with lighter woods and warm, earth-tone fabrics. All Villas offer complimentary wireless internet.
Wind & Waves Grill is a coastal bistro with nautical-inspired décor and an onstage kitchen serving up breakfast and dinner daily. Brunch is available weekly on Sundays.
Goofy hosts a character breakfast on Saturdays only from 8:00 am until noon. Reservations can be made 60-days in advance via the Open Table app.
The Green Cabin Room is a lounge offering a great view and comfortable spot to enjoy cocktails and light fare. The décor is inspired by a 1618 Spanish galleon, the San Martin, said to be shipwrecked just offshore.

Transportation
Disney does not provide transportation to Disney's Vero Beach Resort. Guests can arrange transportation using one of the Vero Beach transportation companies, but they can be very expensive. Aditionally, the resort is very small and most folks visiting want to go see some of the sights or go to off-site restaurants. For these reasons, it's a good idea to rent a car.
Most folks fly into Orlando (95 miles). Other options are North
Palm Beach (81 miles), Sanford (114 miles), and Fort Lauderdale (130 miles).
There is under-building parking under the Inn and the 3 buildings with
the 2BRs and lockoffs. There are small parking lots next to the buildings, but there is no parking next to the 3BR Beach Cottages. Overflow parking is available across
Highway A1A which is connected to the resort via an underground
passage.
