Drawn to Life is the 50th production created by Cirque du Soleil and its premiere coincidesd with the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort.

Set your imagination in motion with an all-new collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering in a show inspired by Disney animation.

Journey into a world where an animator’s desk becomes the stage and drawings come to life. This love letter to the heART of Disney animation transports you in a celebration of life and all of its deliberate, unanticipated movements of Cirque du Soleil’s acrobatic mastery.

Drawn to Life, written and directed by Michel Laprise with Fabrice Becker as Director of Creation, is a live acrobatic journey telling the story of Julie, a determined girl who discovers an unexpected gift left by her Disney Animator father: an unfinished animation. As she dives into the inner world of animation guided by a surprising pencil, Julie embarks on an inspiring quest filled with her childhood Disney memories. Developed in partnership with Michael Jung, Executive Theatrical Development, Walt Disney Imagineering along with Walt Disney Animation Studios, the story is driven by 10 unique acrobatic acts alongside animation from beloved Disney films. In addition, the show features all-new animation created by Disney artists led by Animation Director Eric Goldberg, best known for characters such as the Genie in the Disney Animation classic Aladdin.

Cirque du Soleil is not a traditional circus as the name implies. At Cirque du Soleil, you will not find any animals in the cast. Unlike other circuses, there are no dancing bears, lions leaping through hoops or elephants doing tricks. Rather, Cirque du Soleil is a completely immersive combination of circus and theatrical presentation combining elements of modern dance, staging, humor and acrobatic stunts. Dispersed throughout the show are acts of hilarity, peculiarity, inspiration, excitement and amazement.

The experience of a Cirque du Soleil show always ends with you wondering how it was possible for time to move so fast from the intriguing, attention grabbing pre-show, to the final standing ovation.

It is simply not possible to describe what exactly Cirque du Soleil is with words. You have to experience it to truly understand it.

Cirque du Soleil Performance Schedule

Performances are held Wednesday through Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. with matinees on Sundays presented at 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. There are no performances on Mondays and Tuesdays.

You must enter the theatre at least 10 minutes prior to show time, or risk having your seats resold to someone else. You can not get your money back, but you can exchange your tickets for another date. We recommend arriving 1 hour early as the Cirque du Soleil experience begins before the "official" show time. This will also allow time for a visit to the restroom and picking up refreshments.

Additional Information about Cirque du Soleil:

It is not unusual for shows to completely sell-out. If you decide to watch the show on the "spur of the moment", be sure to check the box office at the theatre as they may have a few seats left over (or maybe some "no show" seats).

The Cirque du Soleil theatre is located at Disney Springs West Side. Valet and regular car parking closest to the theatre is the Watermelon, Mango, and Strawberry parking lots. Taxi service is also available to the theatre.

Most guests dress up a little bit for the show, and we would recommend doing so. The dress is by no means formal, but do dress up like you would going to the theatre in your hometown. Those families in the shorts and t-shirts they wore to the parks tend to stick out in the crowd entering the theatre. Besides, dressing up a little and going out for dinner adds to the experience, right? (convince Dad to at least put on some khakis and a nice golf shirt!)
