Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is the nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom. Its arrival on July 20, 2025, marked the return of a nighttime parade to the park after more than a decade.
Drawing inspiration from classic electrical parades, Disney Starlight blends that familiar nighttime sparkle with modern technology and updated storytelling. The result is a glowing procession that feels nostalgic and new at the same time, designed to be enjoyed from start to finish as it winds through the park after dark.
The parade features an original musical score, interactive MagicBand+ elements, and advanced lighting effects that bring each float to life. Together, these elements create a seamless mix of live performance and visual storytelling, giving the parade a polished, immersive feel without losing the charm that made nighttime parades so memorable in the past.

Disney Starlight is guided by the magic of the Blue Fairy and showcases a lineup of beloved Disney characters presented in fresh ways. Guests can spot familiar faces from Peter Pan, Encanto, Frozen, Wish, and other Disney favorites, all illuminated by vibrant colors and dynamic effects.
With its combination of glowing visuals, music, and character-driven moments, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away has become a standout nighttime offering at Magic Kingdom.

This nightly water "parade" was first performed on October 25, 1971 during the dedication of the former Polynesian Luau. While old-fashioned by today's standards, it's still fun to head to the resort beachfronts to watch it go by. The water pageant can be seen from the boat-loading area at the Magic Kingdom, as well as all each resort around Bay Lake. It normally starts at 9:00 each night, but double-check the My Disney Experience app to be sure. There are two segments, one is a King Neptune theme, the other a salute to America.
