Celebrate the Holidays at the
Handmade Candy Cane Schedule
Each year the candy makers at the Disneyland Resort spend several days during the holiday season making handmade candy canes. Guests wishing to purchase candy canes should line up prior to park open, then head to the candy shop that will be making them on that particular day. Wristbands will be distrbuted amounting to about 40 wristbands per batch, or a total of 120 per day. The wristbands allow guests to purchase one candy cane. Guests can pick up their candy cane anytime after their scheduled batch, but before 4:00pm. Candy canes will be made at the following locations:

One of this season's highlights is "A Christmas Fantasy" parade, complete with tin soldiers, snowflakes and your favorite Disney characters. Later in the evening is the Believe...in Holiday Magic fireworks.

Decorated with 300,000 dazzling lights especially for the holidays, this popular Disneyland attraction transforms into an international celebration of Christmas. Join in as ‘Jingle Bells’ is performed in many languages.
Join Mickey and the Disneyland Characters for a celebration of Christmas along Main Street USA. This parade is a yearly tradition, delighting guests of all ages as they enjoy the antics of Disney characters dancing alongside gingerbread men, snowflakes, and other Christmas characters.

This event will not take place in 2020
This Disneyland holiday tradition takes place on Main Street U.S.A. and features a full Orchestra, Christmas Tree Chorus performing renditions of traditional Christmas songs and a retelling of the Christmas Story by a celebrity narrator.
After a walk through the Park from It's a Small World,
the 600-member choir gathers in front of the Main Street train station,
where an orchestra awaits and herald trumpeters stand ready at the top
of the train station. The narrator then tells the story of the first
Christmas with a musical backdrop provided by the orchestra, choir,
herald trumpeters, bell ringers, and soloists.
The Holiday Time at Disneyland Tour
Guests are treated to an exclusive tour of Disneyland Park all decked out for the "Merriest Christmas on Earth". Tour includes exclusive collectible items, priority boarding on special holiday themed attractions and VIP seating for Disney's "A Christmas Fantasy" parade.

Celebrate the Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure from mid-November through early January. Guests can enjoy food and entertainment inspired by holidays around the world, plus themed decorations around the park.
Vintage-style ornaments and decorations are featured on Buena Vista Street, plus you'll find a large Christmas tree in the plaza near Carthay Circle.
In Cars Land, the residents are decorating as only the "Cars" characters could, plus two of the areas popular attractions receive holiday overlays.
For the holidays, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree becomes Mater's Jingle Jamboree, featuring holiday tunes to keep things festive.
Down the road, Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters turns into Luigi's Joy to the Whirl, with it's own brand of holiday tunes.
World of Color - Season of Light
World of Color - Season light takes guests through a sparkling winter fantasy and includes classic Disney songs and characters.
The show ushers winter in with the falling of the last autumn leaves as Mickey and his friends are decorating their homes for Christmas. Guests see Lady and the Tramp, Andy's family from Toy Story, Stitch, and The Three Caballeros.
In his typical over-the-top style, Goofy designs a holiday light display that overloads the circuits and leads into "Blue Christmas" by Inside Out's Sadness.
The grand finale lights up the lagoon with the spirit of peace, joy, and goodwill.
This event features eight different culinary destinations which make up the Festive Foods Marketplace, along with character appearances and special entertainment. Guests can also purchase a Sip and Savor Pass, which includes 8 dishes or non-alcoholic beverages of your choosing; visitors can pick one up at Festival Merchandise Carts, Seaside Souvenirs, Kingswell Camera Shop, and Rushin’ River Outfitters.
Festive Foods Marketplace
Special food booths featuring a mix of holiday comfort foods that bridge many diverse cultures will be located throughout the marketplace.

Special Entertainment
Special entertainment will be scheduled around Paradise Pier, including Holiday Toy Drummers, Mariachi Divas, Mostly Kosher, and Blue13 Dance Company.
New for 2019, this character celebration features both Disney and Pixar characters, plus the Holiday Toy Drummers. Look for Mickey and his pals twice daily as they dance to a mix of high-energy music at either the Paradise Gardens Park Obelisk or in Carthay Circle.
Several times each day, a high-energy street party led by the Three Caballeros take over Paradise Gardens, along with musicians, dancers, 12-foot-tall majiganga puppets, plus Mickey, Minnie and Santa & Mrs. Claus.
Princess Elena's Musical Grand Arrival
Princess Elena show is not scheduled in 2019, however, Elena still greets guests in Paradise Gardens.
Throughout the day, Princess Elena of Avalor will arrive on her magical float to sing songs and tell stories of her native land.
At California Adventure, Santa greets guests inside the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
Just outside the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, the snow falls on Grizzly Peak!
All three Disneyland Resort Hotels will spruce up for the holidays including visits from Santa and other special surprises.
Dowtown Disney features strolling carolers and live entertainment, making it the perfect place for all of your holiday shopping needs.
Knott's, just 15-minutes from the Disneyland Resort, offers a more low-key option to celebrate the holidays. During Knott's Merry Farm, the entire park is decorated and Ghost Town comes celebrates with nightly snow. Ghost Town is also the home to the annual Christmas crafts fair.
Throughout the park, there is plenty of holiday entertainment, including the annual Christmas ice show starring Snoopy. The Birdcage theater offers their versions of "A Christmas Carol" and "The Gift of the Magi", plus you'll find holiday shows in the Calico Saloon, on the Camp Snoopy stage, and at the main Calico Mine stage.
In Santa's Christmas Cabin, the jolly old elf will be posing for pictures and asking what you want for Christmas. Holiday treats are also available in the cabin.
Each night the residents of Calico light their Christmas tree in Calico Park, in a ceremony that includes the Calico Bell Choir.
