The Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate is a great choice for larger families, or extended families looking to visit Disneyland without breaking the bank. The charming bungalow style units that house the resorts 200 guest rooms evoke an almost residential feel. It's proximity to Disneyland is certainly a big selling point for this property. The entrance to Disneyland is only a 10 minute walk from the Residence Inn. While dining options at the resort itself are limited, you're also only a short walk from several shopping and dining venues at the Anaheim Garden Walk and the surrounding area. The resort does offer a full complimentary american breakfast that is served every day in the main building. There is also a fire pit with an outdoor grill where guests can cook out.

Rooms

There are several types of room offered at the Residence Inn. All room types come complete with a full kitchen, including all cooking and eating utensils. Rooms also include alarm clock, in-room safe, and iron & ironing board. Studio rooms (450 sq. ft) include 1 queen bed and 1 sofa bed in the living / sitting area. Studios have a maximum occupancy of 4 people. 1 bedroom suites (500 sq. ft) include 2 queen beds and 1 sofa bed in the living area, as well as a working fireplace. 1 bedroom suites have a maximum occupancy of 6 people. The hotel also features a bi-level 2 bath loft (700 sq. ft) that has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has 2 queen beds, an upstairs loft has 1 king bed and there is a sofa bed in the living/sitting area. The bi-level suite sleeps 8 people. 2 bedroom suite has 1 queen bed in the 1st bedroom, 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom as well as a sofa bed, and two full baths. The 2 bedroom suite sleeps 8 people.

Dining

There are several dining veneues located a short walk from the hotel at the Anaheim Garden Walk.

A complimentary full American breakfast buffet is provided each day in the main building. The buffet consists of an omlette station, as well as a waffle station and includes both hot and cold breakfast items, including yogurt and cereals.

Transportation

Anaheim Resort Transit - The Hilton Anaheim is located on the Grand Plaza route of the Anaheim Resort Transit (also known as ART). Busses run approximately every 20 minutes and will take you to the theme parks, downtown Anaheim, Knotts Berry Farm and many other locations in the area.
