5 Tips To Make The Most Out Of Disney’s Photopass Service

5 Tips To Make The Most Out Of Disney's Photopass Service 600-photopass
1. Ask for shots on your personal camera
Did you know you can ask PhotoPass photographers to take photos with your personal camera? You do not need to purchase Memory Maker, or even use PhotoPass service. Photographers are more than happy to take a few photos of your group with your own camera. What a great opportunity to get everyone in the shot! Just try to keep it limited to one camera per group as you can email, text, and share the photos later on!

2. Take the time to stop and get your photo taken
Trust me, I know how it goes – the little one has to use the restroom, the Festival of Fantasy parade just started, AND you have a FastPass+ reservation to be at in ten minutes! It is so easy to get overwhelmed and excited in the most magical place on earth, but don’t forget why you are there in the first place! You are on vacation and you are there to make memories with your loved ones! It only takes a few minutes to stop and get your photo taken. If you do happen to be in a rush, it is perfectly fine to let your photographer know you just want a few photos before your are on to your next adventure! If you have purchased Memory Maker, you have already prepaid for an unlimited amount of photos so it is worth your time to stop at as many PhotoPass locations as possible!

3. Memory Maker
Memory Maker is definitely an option to consider if you are planning to use Disney’s PhotoPass service! With this service you gain ownership and digital access to all your vacation photos taken by Disney’s PhotoPass photographers. There is no limit to how many photos you can take! This includes all photos taken around Disney parks as well as select attraction and dining locations.  Purchasing prints of your photos from Disney can get pricey, and if you end up wanting more than a few photos, it makes it much cheaper to purchase Memory Maker and print your photos from home!

4.Use the My Disney Experience App
With the My Disney Experience App you are now able to see where PhotoPass photographers are in each park. You can also save time waiting in line at photo viewing locations by viewing, sharing, and download your photos through the app. As Disney fans, we all love planning and preparing for our next trip! Next time you are in the car or on the plane ride to your next Disney vacation make sure you take the time to look over where PhotoPass photographers are located so you know what spots to hit on your trip!

5. Switch things up!
After taking your typical group shots, do not be afraid to do something different! There is no limit as to how many photos that can be taken. (Just keep in mind of other people waiting in line!) This is such a great opportunity if you are celebrating something special. A few shots of the birthday girl can make for a great memory of your trip. How long has it been since you and your significant other got a photo of you two without the kids? How about a group photo with something different in the background other than Cinderella Castle? Disney’s photographers are already trained to do this and help you be creative- but it doesn’t hurt to have something special in mind! One of the biggest reasons we all love Disney is because of the special memories it holds for us. Make sure you take the time to stop and get your photos taken so you have those memories forever!
