Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 10094 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 10 | Category: 4A | Location: Mid |
Sail Date: 08/19/12 | ||
Notes: This room is midship, roomy and comfortable for our family of 4. Is it noisy? depends. For our family where the kids usually get up around 6 or 7am, the moving of deck chairs above did not bother us one bit. Night time we went to bed around 10pm and really did not hear anything. Maybe a occasional thump nothing loud. Nothing more than what you hear if you were at a hotel.
The only time i noticed the noise was pirate night and that was over at 11:30. Did not bother us because we were at the party and went to our room at 11:00 and it was just noisy for half an hour.
When the ship left port canaveral, my son and husband saw dauphins swimming around.. I was sorry i missed that.
On our way to Castaway Key from port canaveral, we saw a beautiful sunrise.
I loved the room and think it was great!

Notes: This room was very nicely appointed. There was no Murphy bed. It is located right under the kids pools and quite a bit of noise can be heard throughout the day (I could feel things on the desk vibrating from the noise at times). Early mornings were very noisy as the deck chairs were being dragged around the deck (I am a light sleeper though). No view at either Nassau (view of Carnival ship docked beside us) or Castaway Cay. The location is excellent for its' proximity to Cabana's, the pool and gym, but I'd book on deck 9 next time to avoid the noise (I don't know what was happening the last night, but the noise was unbearable). Also, it is a connecting room, though we rarely heard noise from the other room (we twice heard a baby crying). |
