Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 10160 Condition: 4
Deck: 10 Category: 5E Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 10/15/16

Notes: Convenient to pool deck, beverage stations and cabanas. Loved having the best view of Castaway Cay. The verandah is as awesome as you'll think it will be. Our party of 4 had more than enough room to relax and hang out without feeling crowded. However, the vibrations were unlike anything I have experienced in my other Disney cruises. There was periodic "shuddering" which shook the room while sailing. While docking your entire room vibrated for about 10-15 minutes like a cheap motel bed from the 80s. You will hear lots of scraping chairs and noise above you each morning around 6:30 a.m. We slept with the tv on and that helped mask the noise quite a bit. We had rough seas and winds on our first night and the rocking of the ship was very evident from everywhere on the ship. I don't think having the higher room or back of the ship made any difference.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 10160 Condition: 5
Deck: 10 Category: 5E Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 02/07/15

Notes: We loved this room and the huge verandah! 2 chairs, a small table and 2 loungers on the verandah made it our favorite place to spend an afternoon. The room itself was in excellent condition. We had very rough seas so we did experience a lot of movement. The vibration in aft rooms that others mention was present but it was not as bad as I feared it would be. We got used to it quickly. Very convenient to Cabanas and the elevators were never busy. Super quiet in the hallway. I would book this room again in a heartbeat!

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 10160 Condition: 4
Deck: 10 Category: 5A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 10/12/12

Notes: I actually sailed in 2011 but it would not let me put that date...This room is amazing because of the extended veranda it says obstructed because it has a white wall but we had no issues with the white wall at all. The only issue we had was the noise with the chairs being moved around from the restaurant above us. We ended up getting used to it by the time the cruise was over but other than that we did not have any problems. I did notice that the ship rocked alot more back here and I did get more seasick that I have in our past cruises. I would book this room again due to the veranda size though. The room to the right however had an even larger veranda than us. The room inside was nice and clean. Loved the room in location to clubs and restaurants.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 10160 Condition: 5
Deck: 10 Category: 6 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 09/11/11

Notes: Location of the room was great. Room was fine and aft balcony was huge. The noise from the evening crew each morning ( between 2:30 am and 4:30am) power washing, stacking chairs and moving tables was another story. I am a light sleeper but my husband is not and it woke him up every night / morning too. We had a sound machine and could still hear it. Sounded like a heard of elephants moving furniture. Guest services acknowledged that there had been complaints previously and offered to move us ... someone came to our room later and assured us they would speak to the evening crew and ask them to be quiet. It was a little better the following morning but resumed again the following morning. If we had been on the 7 night cruise we would have moved but didn't want to spend our day at castaway cay packing and moving. Guest services were wonderful and I wouldn't hesitate to sail the dream or book and aft balcony again .... I would just book on deck 8 instead.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 10160 Condition: 4
Deck: 10 Category: 6A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 08/21/11

Notes: Due to its location, this stateroom had an unusually large veranda - very long with enough space for 2 lounge chairs in the sun and 2 regular chairs under cover in the shade - a very nice surprise. Like all Aft rooms on the Dream it has a fairly long walk to the Mid elevators, and we had a lot of vibration during docking at Castaway Cay. But room was nice and was very convenient to Cabanas and the Kids clubs.

Notes: very nice location; easy to get to aft elevators and drop down to back entry to Oceaneer Club and Lab on Deck 5; pull down twin bed and bunk was a great bonus for 3 boys. Joins to SR 10108
