Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 10166

Notes: In our family's opinion - BEST ROOM ON THE SHIP - huge veranda, at the exact middle of the ship at the back, beautiful views, veranda part covered & part sunny, 2 chairs, side table, 2 loungers, little wind being at the back of the ship, veranda really usable & we really enjoyed it, enjoyed at night under the stars, docking & leaving ports, sat under covered part during rain, ate outside, wonderful - soot only a slight problem on our feet bottoms, quick rinse in the tub took care of that - some noise will be found with all cabins - the occasional mild noise from Cabanas not a problem for us - great location to us - close to Cabanas, pools, aqua duck, drinks, quick serve foods, ice cream, arcade, goofy sports, aft elevators - we will only travel on fantasy or dream so we will have a cabin similar to this - amazing ship, room, trip - magical as only Disney can do - we will be sailing again

Notes: We really liked this stateroom. The verandah is HUGE! The only issue I had with it was at 7:00 am when chairs were being scraped across the floor at Cabanas and that wasn't even that bad. Location wise, it was okay. It was a hike to get to places that were forward, but not terribly more than most rooms.

Notes: Loved this stateroom. We could watch the ship back into port and the verandah is huge. We are early risers so the fact that you can hear chairs moving in cabanas for a few minutes in the AM did not bother us. The location of the stateroom is perfect, located in the Aft so you are close to Cabanas. We were really pleased with our location.

Notes: We really enjoyed this stateroom and would most likely book again. The only problem was that around 6:30/7am each morning we could hear Cabana's one floor up moving chairs around. I didn't have an issue with this since I'm usually up that early anyways. The veranda is HUGE and I mean, BIG! It's the size of the entire stateroom. It's nice being right by the stairs & elevators. You get a great view of all the ports as well. Well worth the money!

Notes: This is an amazing cabin! The cabin itself is like any other Deluxe room, but this one has a surprise. The extra big verandah. The verandah has the usual set of furniture plus two lounge chairs from the top deck. The verandah is worth the little bit of extra money. We spent a lot of time out there. One thing to consider is that the verandah gets some soot on it every morning. At around 10:00 AM they come along and power wash it every day. Also when you wake up the verandah will be wet from the power washing at Cabanas. This is the largest verandah on the 10 deck aft. The bad thing about the verandah is the privacy issues. If you go too far out the people eating at Cabanas can see you. It was a surprise to go out there the first morning and look up. Many people were looking down at me. The reason this room didn't get a 5 was because of noise. You could hear the chairs scooting across the deck of cabanas. It wasn't too loud, but loud enough to be slightly annoying. Notes: Absolutely amazing. Everything about this room was perfect. The veranda I am convinced is bigger than the room. Being right center if the deck it also seems to be the low point and guess where all the rain water will collect. The good part is it's warm Bahamas water and evaporates quickly but there should be a broom or squeegee hung up on the wall. We never complained about noise from cabanas because of the layout of the room, most of the tables and chairs are over the veranda and not the room. The plus side is being very close to cabanas and elevators. We heard a few comments when we were out on the veranda from people wondering how we got on the secret deck and had to tell them this was our stateroom. We would book this room again anytime

Notes: This was our 10th Disney cruise (first aboard the Dream) and this cabin was fantastic! It is immediately below Cabanas which means it's easy to get to the buffet and pools. The views were exceptional and when the Dream backs into Castaway Cay, you can watch everything from your incredibly large verandah. The two deck loungers on the verandah come in handy if you want a private place to hang without the competition of trying to get a spot on deck 11 or 12. The stern of the ship was pointed towards Nassau, so there were great views of the port while there. We did not notice any problem with the wash-down at Cabanas as reported in other reviews. It is a long walk to the forward part of the ship (Walt Disney Theatre) but we just planned ahead. There was quite a bit of vibration while docking (since the aft thrusters are being used). We would book this cabin again!

Notes: This room was just perfect for us. It is in the exact middle of the aft of the ship. The verandah is unbelievable! Loved the views as we backed into the ports. We had absolutely no problems with noise from Cabanas directly above, as many have talked about. Seems, they have resolved that problem. We also did not mind entering the pool deck via Cabanas. There was a lot of shaking the morning we docked back at Port Canaveral, but hey -- you need to get up early anyway that day. I would re-book this room in a heartbeat and am so spoiled by that verandah that I can't imagine moving anywhere but the aft of the ship from now on

Notes: Fabulous! On the very aft end. Everything was wonderful, except noise with chairs moving above and when they pressure wash Cabana's deck above it washes down (around 3-6am) and leaves a mess. If you can get cabin steward to clean this first thing in morning I would recommend. We had this & 10164. Have rebooked for another cruise already.
