Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 1036 | Condition: 4 |
Deck: 1 | Category: 9 | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 12/09/10 | ||
Notes: Location was very quiet. Hardly any foot traffic. Pretty close to mid-ship elevators. Size of room to be expected. Everything in good working order. Portholes needed to be cleaned on outside. Seems like there may have been splatters of blue paint on window. Would book in this location again. Cons: Mid ship elevators super slow. While close to forward elevators, no access unless you use staff only door. Location not good in relation to drink station on deck 9. |

Notes: stateroom 1036 turned out to be wonderful. My husband first booked this room without knowing that there were 2 small windows instead of 1 large window. We tried to upgrade but ship was full. As the trip progressed I found that level 1 gave me a different view that I could not see anywhere else on the ship. Level 1 is extremely quiet and we enjoyed the privacy very much. would recommend and stay again! |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 1036 | Condition: 5 |

Notes: No vibrations or noise from ship itself. Only about 42 cabins on deck 1, so not too many people available to bother you. Only 4 doors from the door to the forward elevator lobby. VERY VERY convenient to deck 1 forward gangway on Nassau day. We were on the port side and docked against the pier at Nassau and CC. Only problem with deck 1 is that you must go up to another deck and then back down to 1 aft gangway on CC day. Deck 1 guest areas are only forward and midship.
DH, DD11 and I had enough room for 4 nights, but I don't know about 4 people for a week or more??? |
