Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 10516

Notes: We chose a guaranteed verandah room so this was not our choice, but I think we lucked out. Love forward location . We had stateroom 8514 on our last cruise which was an ocean view room also forward. We LOVE being forward ! I have no idea what people complain about having to walk a long distance for things. It is nothing compared to walking around DISNEY World! Lol So, for 10516, there virtually no noise. Never heard our neighbors. The verandah has a beautiful view and you can see right down to the water. You CANNOT see the fireworks though. There is an awning over it that blocked them. You could see the reflection on the water though. The stateroom was prime location to the spa. About a 45-60 second walk. And also very close to the adult only area. My hubby and I went without kids for our 10 year anniversary, so this was perfect ! This room sleeps 4 . No Murphy bed. I prefer deck 7 and 8 so I would not choose this stateroom again but would not be at all disappointed if it was assigned to us at some point.

Notes: Fantastic stateroom, spacious. I was concerned because its located below the fitness center but we never heard any noise above us. The verandah is nice but in all honesty we didnt spend much time on it, theres just WAY too much other stuff to do on a Disney cruise. Its nice having the door to get fresh air in the room though. The only thing I didnt understand is why they separated the toilet and the shower into 2 separate tiny rooms. Seems it would be a better use of space to have one big bathroom but now Im just nitpicking. Its an amazing ship!

Notes: We booked a verandah with restrictions so we are happy because the room is great and got it a lot cheaper then if we would have paid full price. The positive of the room is that you are one stairway away from the adult pool, and Senses spa. Also one quick elevator down to the Walt Disney Theater. The negative is that the room is located below the gym. The room was quiet most of the cruise. I did hear the dropping of weights time to time as I woke up.
