Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 10562 Condition: 4
Deck: 10 Category: Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 09/09/22

Notes: There was noise in such evening due to the scraping of chairs on deck 11. For a light sleeper this might be challenging, but for my wife and I the noise did not disturb us. This room had a great view of Castaway Cay. The room was central to deck 11 as well as the stairs and midship elevator. Plenty of space for a couple.

Notes: Midship room location was awesome, being under pool deck though was extremely noisy.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 10562 Condition: 3
Deck: 10 Category: 5A Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 09/15/13

Notes: Holy cow! If you are a light sleeper this is not the room for you. From 6am to 11pm there is high traffic, noise, chair moving and cleaning running ect.... At 6am they started setting up for the day pulling chairs across the deck, cleaning and setting up for the day. All day long you can here people upstairs. And until about 11...11:30 they were cleaning and moving.

Notes: Prime location 3 doors down from mid-ship elevator. Some slight noise from deck above and kids running; but nowhere near as bad as I'd heard. I'm a light sleeper and had NO problems. View of Castaway Cay is AWESOME! The overhang from deck 10 makes this a VERY private verandah. Very large room, no problem for the 2 of us. 16 yr. old tall (6'3") slept on the couch bed and loves it. I had the Queen and it was super cozy. It did not look like this room had the pull down berths that I could see, so I suppose this room sleeps a max of 3. I recommend showering at the Spa just a deck away; much more room to get ready and the facilities are great. The split bath works great, I just liked the spa BR better.

Notes: We were assigned this cabin through a VGT booking and would not voluntarily choose it again. Pros: midship location near (but not directly AT, as some maps suggest) the elevators/stairs is very convenient; easy access to the pools; starboard side gives good views of the port, Castaway Cay, fireworks; high bed leaves tons of room for suitcases underneath. Cons: NOISE from deck 11 overhead (Flo's Cafe, etc.) causes us to give the cabin a "2" overall -- dragging of hairs/stomping/banging started daily by 7AM and could be heard again until 11pm or later in the evenings. If you are rarely in the cabin, this may not ever bother you, but if you turn in early or like to sleep late, bring earplugs. FYI, Deck 11 also extends out over the balcony so the cover is fine if raining but blocks sun/full sky view otherwise. We still had a fantastic cruise but next time we would definitely choose a cabin that is not underneath public areas.
