Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 10608 Condition: 5
Deck: 10 Category: 4A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 07/13/19

Notes: This was our first cruise and we booked room 10608 because there weren't many options left by the time we booked. However, we were not disappointed. The hallways were quiet since the room is about halfway between the aft and midship elevators. We actually hardly saw anyone near our room in the hallways. We also heard zero noise from above. After looking at the deck plans I'm pretty sure that this room is somewhere between Cabanas and the super busy areas of the pool so the noise was not an issue. The size of the room was perfect for our family of 5 with older children. Each of our kiddos had their own bed and we all had either a drawer or cabinet to store clothes, bags, etc. The split bathroom is such a great bonus! The views from the balcony were one of my favorite parts of this cruise. We loved watching as we pulled into Castaway Cay. Overall we loved the convenience and location of this room. Just a quick trip up the stairs and we were at Cabanas or the pool. We liked this room so much that we booked the same room for our next cruise. **Just a note after reading the previous review. There is a mechanical room across from this room. We think it might house one of the pool or water features pumps. However, the noise was not an issue. While we could hear a light hum in the hallways several doors down from ours we never heard any noise inside our stateroom.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 10608 Condition: 4
Deck: 10 Category: 4A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 04/01/17

Notes: This stateroom was well maintained and in good shape. Our stateroom hostess, Andrea, was excellent. It is a starboard room that does provide for a great view of Castaway Cay. That said, I would not choose this stateroom again. The biggest negative is that across the hall (a long wall) is some sort of mechanical system that is running 24 hours a day and is noisy. The room is never really quiet. I had the queen bed and luckily had earplugs. The other negative is the very long walking distance to either the mid-ship or the aft elevators. The room is right at the dividing line between Mid and Aft staterooms.
