Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 10656

Notes: As noted by others, one floor down from Cabanas and steps away from the stairwell/elevators. Almost no foot traffic outside the door; only the aft cabins have to walk past the room. Aft location means the elevators are lightly used (except for dinner - Animator's Pallette is on Deck 3 below. Occasional noise from above, but nothing loud enough or unpleasant enough to disturb anyone but the lightest sleepers. The balcony cleaning apparatus is immediately to the right of the balcony, and blocks your aft view (and everyone else's on Deck 10) if you lean out past the rail. However, it is unobtrusive when sitting down. Since Cabanas is one floor up, the balcony is largely sheltered from the rain because of the ten foot or so overhang. Overall, great location more than makes up for any shortcomings.

Notes: My father stayed in this room, while we were in 10662. Same problem of bad vibration when ship running at full or near-full speed. VERY noticeable. Also, being the last cabin on the side of the ship, there is a maintenance vehicle parked to the immediate right of the verandah which blocks your view. My father complained to guest services about both problems. As there were no other rooms available, he had to deal with it.

Notes: This room is in a very convenient location! One floor up to Cabanas & the family pools and very close to the aft elevators. We were not bothered by the cleaning apparatus at all & didn't feel it really obstructed the view. We had noise from Cabanas late one afternoon that was an annoying continuous loud pounding noise but only happened to be in the room at that hour because I had a small child in need of a nap before late dining. We never noticed it again so if you are out of the room most of your day (as most cruisers are) I don't think you'll have a problem with it. The only other noise I noticed was docking during the return to Port Canaveral. I would definitely book this room again unless I was traveling with a small child in need of afternoon naps or somebody else who would need to be in the room frequently during afternoon/early evening hours. I loved having a two minute walk up a flight of stairs to get to late night treats, food carried back to the room, etc, the convenience to the pools, & being able to walk when everyone else was waiting for the elevators at high traffic times like pirate night & the sail away party!

Notes: This room is listed as a full price, unobstructed view but to the right of the balcony is the cleaning apparatus. It totally blocks your view to the right. We actually had guest services change our room because we felt the view was so bad.

Notes: Great room - above Cabanas which is perfect - perfect views - will book again.

Notes: The condition of the room was excellent but it's a really noisy location as its the last room along the corridor and the main aft plumbing pipes run inside the wall space next to the stateroom door

Notes: Room was beautiful but is located right below Cabana's ice machine. You hear ice being made alll night..

Notes: We put my Mom and Sister-in-law in this room - they loved it! Loved the aft location - one floor up to Cabanas (but didn't notice noise above from Cabanas). Verandah has great view when docked at Castaway Cay. Area to the right of the verandah is just open space - if you look around the edge of the verandah you can only see neighbors on the left. Cleaning platform to the right, but it didn't cause any distraction. Would book this room again.
