Notes: The room was in excellent condition, clean, perfectly organized. The view from the verandah was great with the caveat that this room is exactly in front of one of the few cameras Disney Wish has spread throughout the ship at this deck's height. So be careful if you're changing clothes or something. No complaints about noises or toilet not working at all. It did rock a little bit too much for me but I haven't been in other parts of the ship to compare. So it might just be that I'm too sensitive. |

Notes: This was our first crusie and I have read every review about this room and we loved it. The previous reviews are correct when they say there is shaking and there is noise in the morning but unless you are the lightest sleeper in the world the Pro’s outweighs the cons.
The shaking. When they are moving along it is a vibration and is something you notice at first and don’t think about it again. It was all apart if the experience. In the morning on a couple days you would hear the workers dragging chairs for a brief moment but again nothing you would jump out of bed about.
Now let’s talk about the views!!! We had the most amazing sunsets and sun rises on this patio! We watched the fireworks from our room and had the best view on boat. When you pull
Into castaway you have the best view of the island and can easily never leave the patio and have a wonderful time.
There was nothing better than being able to get out of bed, run up one flight of stairs and grab a coffee and head back down. Nightly we would go upstairs for water and head back down. The best location in my opinion to everything you need.
I would highly recommend this room to anyone who loves the best views and a bigger than normal room! |

Notes: - Stayed in stateroom 10658 on Oct. 2019. Yes, the veranda is huge, but you can expect horrendous vibrations when they crank up the speed over 12 knots. And forget about, when they kick in the side thrusters. It was like an earthquake. The room was also a bit "worn out". Rugs were dirty, light switches have seen better days. Bring a flashlight if you want to retrieve anything from the close closets. Back to the veranda, hope you like Disney Muzak, cuz that's what you'll hear all day from Cabanas, that's right above the room. |

Notes: I sailed with my husband and two teenage kids. Here is the breakdown of my opinions on the room:
Space - there is plenty of space in the cabin and with all four people, it didn't seem crowded.
Storage - there is plenty of hanging storage, but I would have liked more shelf or drawer space for our clothes. I used a suitcase under the bed and the shelves in the closet. The desk always seemed cluttered because it was a "catch all".
Privacy - NOTE - there is NO privacy curtain in this room! If you are traveling with children or other guests, you can do what I did, which worked out great! I purchased an opaque shower curtain from Walmart for $12. I purchased magnet hooks from Amazon ($9). I hung the shower curtain from the hooks, which were attached to the ceiling. You do need to move the magnets each morning and night, but I didn't mind.
Noise - yes, I did hear the crew moving chairs in Cabanas about 4 or 5 the first morning. I called Guest Services and it stopped after that. Once people start arriving at Cabanas, you are pretty much up anyway. If you are a late sleeper and want guaranteed quiet - this is NOT the room for you. Hallway noise is a minimum because you turn a corner in the hall to get to your room.
Vibrations - yep, you will get vibrations and movement, especially at higher speeds, rough seas and docking. You are on a ship..in the back..it's going to happen. That being said, I'm super sensitive to motion and there was only one night I had to skip dinner, take extra drugs and go to bed because of the movement. The rest didn't bother me. If you don't want to feel more significant movement than the middle, don't book this room.
Balcony - was awesome! We had lots of space for all four of us (basically 4 adults) and the views are incredible. You will have some soot on the balcony, which they wash each day, and somewhat blocking your view depending on the direction of the wind. I did have trash from Cabanas on our balcony the first morning and after I called Guest Services, it was promptly addressed and did not happen again. I believe this room has the best views of Castaway Cay and of the seas in general.
Bedding - oh my gosh, the main bed is SO comfortable. I loved it. Plenty of room for me and my husband. My son (6'3") slept on the sofa bed. He did have to bend his knees a little to fit, but he does that anyway when he sleeps. My daughter (5'7") slept on the drop down bed quite comfortably.
Safety drill was in The Tube. You do not have to wear the life vest.
Bathrooms are a little tight and shower water can get really hot, then cooler, then hot, then cooler during showering. I had relatives that stayed on the 9th level midship and they said it was the same for them as well. Split bath is great! Don't forget a tea light as a nightlight (one worked for us the entire 7 days) and air freshener. :) Bring some clothes pins for the laundry line in tub/shower room. Also, there are two hooks outside of the tub/shower room on the wall. We hung our lanyards and robes on them.
Laundry - I went with the intention of doing laundry - located halfway down the hall from the room. The washers are small and the dryers do NOT hardly dry your clothes. I put mine through 2 high cycles in the dryer and they were still damp. Cost was $2 for each load - both wash and dry. I ended up hanging my clothes in the closet to finish drying them. You can have Disney do the laundry but it is EXPENSIVE!
Convenience - the room is located right under Cabanas. When you walk up the stairs, you enter the middle of Cabanas. I always cut through Cabanas to get to the pool. The aft elevators quickly take you to Animator's Palate and the adult bars. to get to the main areas, I would walk down the hallway to the midship elevators.
Hope this info helps! |

Notes: I had the pleasure of experiencing this room on the special 3 night Double Dip after the Fantasy completed dry dock. The room was extremely spacious with extra space by the closets. However, I'm pretty sure everyone is primarily interested in the oversized verandah. It was as amazing as it looks. Two chairs, two loungers and a table with room for several friends! While at Castaway Cay, you will be treated to the best view of the island! This side of the ship doesn't use the thrusters as much as the other side, since they push away from the pier on Eastern, Western, as well as Castaway Cay from primarily the other side, depending on itinerary. There is a minimal amount of soot, but the verandah gets a daily washing by the crew. Laundry facilities are located midway down the corridor on the same side of the passageway. this location is convenient to aft elevators and cabana's. Our particular safety drill met in The Tube, although that is subject to change. I have tried to book this room again, but it was taken. This one goes on the list to experience again! |

Notes: Brilliant room. The room has queen bed, couch bed, and bunk bed. The room is right on the aft corner and so has a very long balcony that has two chairs, table and two loungers. The corner aspect allows you to look all the way up the starboard side of ship as well as out the back. Absolutely magnificent balcony and views. The balcony next door is empty (for use by staff) so you only have neighbors on one side. The room is super convenient to cabanas up one flight of stairs, great for morning coffee to bring back to room, or even meals from cabanas. We had no problem with dust or dirt from engines. There was limited issues with noise from above - we had a rainy trip and so they didn't set up the outside seating for cabanas on most days. One day it was sunny and the chair noise started around 5-6am but it wasn't noisy enough to wake us up, I was awake, my son slept through it. We had no problems during the day/night was th noise from people above. The room layout is so better than other rooms we could see as there was heaps of room near bathrooms and cupboards, due to shape of room. Less room near couch and balcony but that just made the views so much closer. The room is quite close to aft elevators which makes it easy to get around, very few people use these and so it was easy to get up and down, the starboard side gave us great views of castaway cay and as we didn't get the normal dock at Nassau we got great views of Nassau (didn't reverse in so views were on our side). The room has toilet with sink in one bathroom and bath/shower and sink in other bathroom. Massive amount of storage with two big wardrobes and under bed storage and a few draws in room. Had a mini fridge. All beds were comfortable, but the main was best bed so cosy. Seriously great room, will get again if can. |

Notes: Awesome room! Slept 4 comfortably. Huge verandah with 2 chairs AND 2 lounge chairs. Quiet corner with views of back and side of ship. "L" shaped room provides more floor space near closets and more openness by bathroom doors. Some vibration but quickly got used to it. Convenient to back stairs and Cabanas. Only downside was the verandah got wet when they washed the cabanas deck which they sometimes did midday after lunch. |

Notes: Corner stateroom starboard side of ship, huge veranda (two chairs, small table, two lounge chairs), directly under Cabanas which is very convenient but also noisy starting about 6:30am. View at Castaway is awesome! Location great for Europa and Animators Palate. Everything in perfect working order though there was a red stain on the carpet around the bed. |

Notes: Convenient to elevators and Cabanas, awesome view of fireworks from verandah, oversized verandah with room for 2 chairs and 2 chaise lounges, quiet hallway, no noise heard from deck of Cabanas above, TV swivels out, no dividing curtain, only vibrations felt were when docking, seemed large |
