Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 1067 | Condition: 4 |
Deck: 1 | Category: 10 | Location: Mid |
Sail Date: 10/18/07 | ||
Notes: The room is very nice and roomy for 2 adults and two children. Split bath is great. The location is great...close to the elevatores and stairs. Being midship was great because we were never far from our room. The cons...there's a loud noise, like a big pump going off...sound like an alarm in the middle of the night and as you're trying to fall asleep. It did not ruin anything for us...but it did wake me up several times. Also: when ship stops at Nassau and Castaway Cay...you have to walk up the stairs....down the hall, then back down the stairs. Even though you get off on floor one, you can't get to the exit without going up then back down. Overall, though good room. No noise in the hall, very private and quiet down there. I was worried it would have a basement feel, but it does not. Would stay in this room again, but may be better one deck up. |

Notes: Our family of six had adjoining rooms 1067-1069. The rooms themselves were great, we loved having four bathrooms and had lots of room. The only inconvenience was the location - there is no access to these rooms from aft-only midship and forward. This means that getting on and off at port on the aft end and getting to and returning from aft restaurants meant no straight trips to deck 1 -first we'd need to get to deck 2 and go to midship before going down to deck 1. |
