Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 1070 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 1 | Category: 9 | Location: Mid |
Sail Date: 05/21/09 | ||
Notes: Was a *great* location for avoiding motion problems that were much worse even a couple of decks up. Very quiet as far as other passengers, since there aren't many rooms in that area. There was some noticable noise from the ship operations, but it was never a problem for us. Convenient to mid elevators, and being on the first deck meant they weren't full - you could always get on. Disembarking was kind of annoying - had to go up to 2nd deck, down the ship, then back down to 1st deck. We liked the portholes - gave a view nice and close to the water, and could close them for total darkness when desired. Room was in very good condition/upkeep. Room layout and space was very good (probably no different from others in same category) |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 1070 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 1 | Category: 9 | Location: Mid |

Notes: This room was quiet. It had the 2 small porthole windows as opposed to the large picture window on upper decks. You were able to see plenty out of them though. No steamer trunk. Could only access the room from the mid or forward elevators. If you took the aft elevators, then you had to get off on deck 2 and walk to mid section and take stairs or elevator down to deck 1. |

Notes: Two porthole room. Very quiet. Away from disembarkation area so not a lot of foot traffic. Sleeps four. No steamer trunk in this room. Not a connecting room. Quiet and convenient. Only flaw is the missing steamer trunk! |
