Notes: This room is amazing. Many times we chose to retreat to the verandah and read. The verandah is huge! We had two minor maintenance issues which a quick call to concierge fixed. Disney also followed up in several ways to make sure the items were repaired. I really did not notice much noise from above as the deck above is an adults only area. Because the room is forward and at the center of the ship there is no view of Castaway Cay once the ship is tethered. No problem though we just popped up to deck 13 to get some pictures.
This room is close to the concierge lounge which was handy. Most of all we were privileged to have Lita as our hostess and she was amazing. She even found my glasses ( which I could not locate) in a garbage can. So grateful to her for the save. I can not even begin to say that I think this is the only room I ever want to sail in on DCL. Spectacular! |

Notes: Great room!!! We lucked out to upgrade to this room at port and loved it! Ever sat and watch ed the bridge camera on the in-room tv? That's your view from this room.
The extra hallway was very interesting. There is a door at each end that goes to the two suites on either side. (You can't get into them and they can't get to your hallway.) While the main stateroom door is about 3 feet into the hallway more or less straight ahead, there is about 5-6 feet to the left AND the right to get to the other suites. We stored shoes there when going in/out of the room. It was also a great place to store bags before/after ports. Lots of sand can collect here... ;)
The verandah was awesome. Two loungers, two smaller loungers, and two cushioned chairs and a table were out there. About half the balcony is covered. You can stand in a chair to get just over the glass for better views. You still can't fall over. Below, you see the helipad (mickey shaped) on the front as well as the outdoor portion of the Vibe lounge. We could occasionally hear the lounge, though not often. We also could easily see the people on deck 13 (and vice versa). Conversations were easily heard from above. You could also hear the two suites on either side. We didn't have any partiers on the suites so never had any complaints about those rooms.
Otherwise, the room is a one bedroom. Read any review for those to hear those details. Main bedroom is to the left when you walk in the room.
The main bath tub is monstrous. Wish we had used it even once. The TV in the mirror in the same bath is also a nice touch. I would leave it on the Captain's report channel just to know the time/weather/where we were on the journey.
We would definitely choose this room again!!! |

Notes: The Best Room 1 Bedroom Suite on the Ship! Two Door Entry. 1st door is large entry way designed for the two Disney Suites to join to this suite. Since you are not sharing with the two disney suites, its all your to use, Great for storing luggage or other large items safely. The suite is directly in the middle of the forward section of the ship. Very large deck. I the master bathroom has a HUGE whirlpool tub, its like 4 people can be in it at the same time. 3 TV's, it just a great room. Only con and it not that bad, people on the deck above can look down on the front portion of the deck. |

Notes: This was a fantastic stateroom, with the exception of a couple of things. The 1BRs on the Fantasy/Dream all have pretty much the same layout, and we noticed no difference in this room, compared to other 1BRs we have stayed in. The only real differences were the hallway (you must open 2 doors to enter your stateroom) and the verandah.
The hallway is a great place to store a stroller or your luggage. You open one door to enter the hallway that has connecting doors to the Royals, then another to enter your stateroom.
The verandah is very nice. It is HUGE! You do not overlook the ocean directly, but the staff pool. You don't really notice this if you are sitting down as you can see the ocen that way. However, one thing to note is that the hot tubs for the Royal suites both flank this verandah. This isn't a problem if your neighbors use the hot tub like a normal person would. We had neighbors in one Royal, however, that acted like they were at Blizzard Beach and not in a hot tub. They let the kids jump repeatedly into the hot tub, splash, scream, even encouraged it. Often past 11pm. Sigh. The other thing to note about the verandah is that it is partially uncovered, and people from Deck 13 (Satellite Falls) do tend to congregrate immediately above and can see you if you venture to the uncovered part of the verandah.
We had calm seas and did not feel the motion of the ship. We expected it to be more rocky being all the way forward, but this was not the case in fair weather.
Watch for a sewage-y smell in the closet with the safe. If it does smell (as it did on our cruise), don't leave your nice clothes hanging there as you will have to give them a good airing out before you wear them. |

Notes: The Best one-bedroom on the ship. A large private hallway where we stored our luggage during the entire cruise, and the biggest verandah for a one bedroom on the ship. We slept 4 adults and 1 child comfortably. lots of storage space. the ONLY downside is that because this is the most forward cabin, you cannot look over the rail directly at the ocean (which we like to do) while cruising. instead, you look down onto the teen club pool deck. However, it's a fantastic view when arriving in ports. We weren't bothered about the deck 13 pedestrian guests that could look down onto our deck. One night we slept on the deck chairs - it was lovely, until it started to rain. would book again in a heartbeat if we could ever afford it again. |

Notes: This was our 5th Disney Cruise, and the first staying in a 1 bdrm suite. This suite was amazing. The extra long hallway acts as sort of an entry foyer, and provides additional privacy for you and storage space for your luggage. This was handy since we had a family of 5, plus golf clubs! The deck was amazing and provided great forward views when you're sailing. the only thing is you can't lean over it because it is glassed, but when you're at sea you realize it's because of the wind! The suite itself was "dream". Fit our grown family of 5 easy. We would book this suite again in a heartbeat. |

Notes: Best room ever! Of course the suite is nice, but the deck is over the top awesome. I want this suite every time I go on either the Dream or Fantasy. We had our own deck party for extended family and easily fit 9 people there. (6 chairs already on deck)
But there are some downers. People above can look over into the veranda. Also the people in the suites to the left and right can stand on the hot tub decks and peek over. Even kids can peek over. Lastly, because the decks are so cool to the left and right, expect a lot of noise if they are into deck parties. |

Notes: Bar none, the BEST 1-bedroom on the ship. Larger entry hall, full glass window and HUGE verandah with amazing views. Downfalls - people on deck 13 can look on to your verandah, and the location can put a those w/ a tendency to motion sickness over the edge. The entrance is a bit odd - one main outside door, then a hall with the actual entrance to the room, with connecting entrances to the Walt and Roy suites. We actually liked the hall, great place to keep our stroller. If we could, we'd book again in a heartbeat. |
