Notes: Very beautifully decorated room as it can be shared with the Royal suite next door. Layout is slightly unusual as the connecting door to the Walt suite is right to the right of entrance, not in the middle of the wall as for other connecting rooms. That pushes closets and cabinets further inward so the hallway may be (or appear to be?) slightly narrower at the point where it runs by the cylindrical shower wall. It didn't bother us the slightest and might be an optical illusion: we had no problems getting a collapsible wheelchair through. If given the choice between this any other Category V stateroom, I would only rank those with the larger bump-out balconies higher: the beautiful decor makes it more attractive than the regular Cat V rooms to me and it was kind of fun to be next to the royal suite and be able to catch a glimpse of its enormous balcony. Some other online reviews had pointed out noise from above and visibility from the adjacent Cat T bump-out balcony as a problem, but we didn't notice any problems with either issue. We didn't hear a sound from the sundeck above all week. |

Notes: Very far forward and very high up on ship, so very quiet most of the time. The only complaint was staff dragging deck furniture across Deck 13 directly overhead early in the morning as they put the chairs back out for guests. TV was huge and directly in front of the bed, which was excellent for watching movies and the bow cam. We even used it for sleeping music at night.
Had a great time watching docking procedure as we came into Castaway Cay. We jumped when they fired the line launching cannon.
People on the bump out verandah can see into your room without really trying, so keep this in mind.
Plenty of room for two of us. I could see where it might get cramped for more people unless they're fine with close quarters. Two adults and two children should be fine, though.
Concierge staff was incredible. I can't say enough good things about them. |

Notes: Great room! Quiet and peaceful. The concierge team was fantastic and the room was always spotless. Can't wait to sail on the Fantasy again. Plenty of room for the two of us. |
Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 12004 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 12 | Category: V | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 12/22/11 | ||
Notes: The room was pristine but small. Fine for a short cruise for 3 people. This room is a little narrower than the other cat V's. Large flatscreen tv as sometimes booked as connecting with the royal suite next-door. Very quiet. Not convenient to any of the restaurants or kids clubs. Convenient to the spa. Concierge team is fabulous. |

Notes: Very quiet and convenient to the concierge lounge. Right next door to the Walt Disney suite. As others have pointed out, the Cat V rooms have a pull out sofa/bed that will block access to the verandah and the drawers in the vanity. Felt about the right size for two adults and two kids. Five people would be tight. |
