Notes: This is an amazing room. It is the last door on the starboard side on deck 12. It connects to 12502, which is the Roy O. Disney royal suite. The door to this stateroom as well as the interior decor is pretty fancy as it matches the Royal suites. The bathroom has different tile on the walls, and all in all it's very elegant. We found this room to be extremely quiet. The lounge is conveniently located a few doors down, but you are far enough away to not be disturbed by other guests in the hallway. The balcony is the same size as other rooms around the ship. Some reports will say that this room has a smaller than usual balcony, but this is inaccurate, it's the standard size. The perception that it's small is due to the bump out being right next to this room, and those rooms have much larger than normal balconies. Some have mentioned that this room is slightly smaller than the other Cat-Vs, but we did not notice any difference at all.
I would not hesitate to stay in this room again. It was wonderful! |

Notes: Everything was in perfect order, and the location really is primo! We loved the view and what's not to enjoy on the concierge level?!
The only downside were the neighbors on their verandah -but there were 3 single men from another country. Apparently where they all must speak loudly in order to be properly heard. When they weren't outside, you wouldn't hear them. The room/area is quiet and it's just heavenly!
I would book this room again in a heartbeat. |

Notes: Wow! What a great room!! We loved the location, it was close to the concierge lounge, yet far enough there was little traffic and no noise. The room hostess was amazing as were the concierge staff. This room is decorated slightly different due to it being an adjoining room to the royal suite. We met our royal suite neighbors and they graciously gave us a tour. We tried to book this room again for our next sailing, but it was already booked. We had zero complaints about this room, but so I give a complete report I will tell you the following: If you are on the verandah you cannot see aft due to the bump out. Also, occasionally you could hear noise from deck 13 above, but not enough to be annoying. Neither of those things bothered us, but it may others. We had two adults and a 2 year old and had plenty of room. There was ample storage for our luggage under the bed and we had plenty of room for the pack and play which we kept up all the time. When the sofa is pulled out into a double bed you cannot access the drawers in front of it or the verandah easily. We put the bed out the first night for our son, but decided the pack and play was easier for naps and just used that the rest of the trip. We had a great spot to keep our stroller in the little area between our room and the connecting door to the royal. We also kept the diaper genie they provided there and out of the way.
The rain shower was amazing and gets super hot! The tub was perfect for our son to bathe in.
We loved the concierge experience and loved this room! |

Notes: The room was very nicely decorated. I loved the close proximity to the Conceirge Lounge and Sun deck. Only one deck away from spa, which we used often and close to Cabanas. We had a view of Castaway Cay when we docked so that was nice to wake up to. We had 4 people in room and it was fine not too tight, except we had to walk over the pull out couch if we wanted to go on the balcony(when couch was open). We really took full adantage of the conceirge lounge. We went with another family and that was our meeting place. Plus the staff was excellent. Mickey the bartender did a great job, having my husbands drink ready for him every night. |

Notes: This room was terrific!! Conveniently located by the lounge and between the Royal Suite and a One Bedroom. My parents had the same catagory stateroom however our room was different. I guess to mimic the Royal Suite in case they are ajoining. Fantastic room would stay in it again! |

Notes: Stateroom is located on starboard side and connects to the Roy Disney Suite. We loved the stateroom location. It is very close to the Concierge lounge and access to the Concierge private sun deck. The room was very clean and there was very little noise. Great views from the verandah. You can even see part of the Captain's bridge when you look left. Stateroom attendant was excellent. I would definitely stay in this room again! |

Notes: Stateroom 12504 is a Family Oceanview w/ Verandah located in the concierge section of the ship. As the other reviewer stated, it is very similiar to other non-concierge verandah rooms. It has nicer amenities that are included with the concierge rooms. You have access to the Concierge Lounge. This gives you direct access to the on-call concierge host as well as a nice place to meet and plan activities. The stateroom is very quiet. We felt very little vibration in this room compared to others on the ship. It is all the way forward and directly next to the Roy Disney suite. We did meet our Walt Disney suite neighbors (three doors down) and enjoyed a nice afternoon with them on their verandah. As posted above, you do have a door that connects the Roy Disney Suite and Room 12504.
Overall it was a great room and we would have no qualms about booking it again. |

Notes: This is a V category stateroom, described as a Concierge Family Oceanview w/Verandah. Its virtually identical in size and layout to any of the category 4 staterooms, but at what can be twice the price. The difference lies in upgraded amenities, and access to the concierge facilities. Let me describe the stateroom first. This stateroom is all the way forward on the starboard side, right next to the Roy O. Disney Royal Suite. In fact, theres an access door between the two staterooms so that someone staying in the Roy can also book this stateroom for children or other overflow people. The verandahs can be connected as well, which makes for greater flexibility. (You can also connect this verandahs with the one from the one bedroom suite immediately aft, 12506, but theres no door to connect the rooms. They do this to facilitate exterior cleaning, I think.) The view is definitely on the starboard side, not facing the bow, but all the way forward on that side. (This means youre facing Castaway Cay when in port there.) There is a deck above, Deck 13, and you can occasionally hear footsteps from up there, but as its an observation and sunbathing deck, it doesnt happen very often. You are also right over the most forward of the observation windows in the Quiet Cove, so no noisy neighbours below, either. All told, a quiet, very good location and, if youre lucky, you might get invited in to the Roy suite for a tour (we werent lucky). Now for the concierge part. There are entire discussion threads devoted to whether concierge service is worth the extra money, so I wont duplicate that discussion here. We found the concierge lounge to be very handy when it wasnt overrun with the kids of families staying in concierge rooms. Its open most of the day (7 a.m. to about 9 p.m., I think), and we kept our stateroom stocked with water and soft drinks from the lounge. Theres a cocktail hour in the evening before each of the two dining sittings, and we had a couple of glasses of champagne each night before dinner. And theres a private sunbathing deck with a private stairwell from the lounge, which we used, and really enjoyed and generally found to be quiet (except when children from other concierge families were up there). We enjoyed the three dedicated concierge in the lounge, and leaned on them quite a bit. As well, there are a number of wait-staff in the lounge who are also great. As for the upgraded amenities sheets, towels, robes, nicer soap, hand cream, etc. EH. Theyre nice but no big deal. Bigger TV screen was both nice and annoying nice because it was bigger; annoying because you couldnt turn it, and so really could only watch from the bed. The rest of the room is the same as cat. 4, so no extra space. Loved the room, loved the stateroom host, Dewa, and would probably spend the extra for the concierge amenities next time depending on price. |
