Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 2002 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 09/08/18

Notes: Every room I've stayed in is in great condition aboard all the ships, however, I fell asleep to an unusual noise. This same noise woke me at 1:30am. I called Guest Services as it sounded like something was not secure and banging the hull. I was traveling with others so I went to another cabin for the remainder of the night and trip. The next day I was told it is the gangway door just beneath and that it could not be secure any more than it was, therefore BANG, BANG, BANG like a sledge hammer against the outer hull as we rocked with the waves. I was fortunate not to have to stay, but I would NEVER book this room.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 2002 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 12/01/08

Notes: We absolutely loved this stateroom! It was very quiet and there was virtually no hallway noise. Also, this stateroom is slightly longer than most which gives you a few extra square feet. We did feel the motion of the ship more in this location but we enjoy that. If you don't I would suggest booking a cabin further Aft. We will book this stateroom whenever possible.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 2002 Condition: 4
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 09/15/07

Notes: It was a great room, the only thing with this room is it is very noise in the morning when you are docking somewhere so you get an early wake up call!! Not sure if it is the anchor that is making the noise or the propellers. Definitely noise pulling in to port and leaving port. It is located below the Walt Disney theatre so you can hear the shows and hear them practicing during the day.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 2002 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 08/20/05

Notes: This stateroom is very far foward, located at the curve of the bow. Because of this it SEEMS to be a little deeper than the Cat. 9 staterooms located nearer mid-ship, allowing for a few extra square feet on the outside wall. The corridor is very quiet. 2002 is across the hall from the Walt Disney Theatre; we could hear muted music and applause. There is definitely mechanical noise, but only when anchoring/docking -- we thought it might be from an anchor chain. 2002 is convenient to all forward and mid-ship amenities. Allow an exta minute or two to get to AP, PC, Topsiders or Palo, which are aft. Because 2002 is so far forward, I joked that on a rough sea the pitching of the ship turned the stateroom into a thrill ride. Even in good weather the large window sometimes caught the spray from the bow. We liked this stateroom and would request it again.
