Notes: Do Not Book! Oceanview deck 2 room with a large porthole is lovely, but the excessive noise from the hallway (it’s right across from the crew entrance/exit) and ceiling made this an unpleasant experience. There was a rolling noise similar to a bowling ball that continued to roll day and night. In addition, heavy dropping sounds made it impossible to nap or rest during the day. Tried to figure out the cause, but could only find the merchandise shop above. Do not recommend booking this cabin. |

Notes: Great cruise and great room! I was very nervous about the room being so low and how motion sick I would get. A huge storm occurred on one of the last nights and No one in my family got sick. we all slept well that night. There was a bit of noise coming from the crew member door across from us from the luggage being transferred from the ship. The window had an amazing veiw! perfect for sunsets! I always sat in the window seat and read a nice book at night or during the day. perfect for a family of 3-4. Bathrooms were perfect for rotation while getting ready. had lots of storage space. Definitely would stay in this room again |

Notes: The location isn't bad... deck 2, between midship & forward elevators. No excessive traffic as this area is partitioned off from the entrance to Enchanted Garden. The nearby midship elevators are terribly slow! Once you finally get an elevator, it can take up to 5 minutes or more to get up to the Deck 11 (Cabanas/Pool Deck) because these elevators stop on nearly every floor. The room's porthole is a nice size and includes a pad. I'm 5'9 and thought it was quite comfy to sit in while reading or watching the waves roll by! Across from the room, you'll find a cast member door... the noise was minimal. We did notice quite a bit of noise from above throughout the day/evenings though. The room itself is non-connecting, has the split bath, and we found everything to be in great shape. |

Notes: Great location - deck 2, midship. Elevators were close. This was our first cruise and we were worried about motion sickness. We did take Bonine, but also found this was a great location. The porthole is not super big but includes a pad -- our son is tall for his age at six and a half years old, and fit comfortably. He loved his "cozy spot". There is a cast member door directly opposite this room so it was busy on embarkation and disembarkation day. Otherwise we didn't notice it nor was there any excess noise. The only time noise was an issue was the last night -- we could hear things rolling above us. Guessing it was carts of for the stores maybe?? It either didn't last long or we were so exhausted it didn't keep us from sleeping. LOL. We would stay here again. |

Notes: This was a standard stateroom with the square tub and the smaller porthole, not the catg 8, but still big and deep enough for both kids (6&7) to sit in comfortably separately or together and it did have a cushion along the bottom. It has the drop down bunk, but no extra room after the bunk like you see in cabins with the pull-down murphy bed. VERY NOISY!!! Across the hall from the employee stairwell / work area and loud noise well into the evening and early in the morning. To the point it woke me up, but I am a light sleeper. Noise from passengers around elevators and restaurant were not an issue. Great access to main decks (except deck 11 of course) although getting on the elevator on deck 2 was nice as they were almost always empty. Great access to gangway and no noticeable noise on days it was used. Views at STT were harbor view, SJU was dock view (unloading side) and Castaway was water view. |

Notes: Great Room - Huge Porthole, no noise whatsoever, adjacent to aft stairs, which went straight up to Guest Services. Directly up the elevators to the Oceaneers Clubs. Has a Steamer Trunk. Only downside was near the teens club, which meant kids were hanging about in the elevator area, but this didn't really cause any problems, we did hear kids running past on a couple of ocassions. Would book this room again as so convenient. |
