Notes: Based on the previous reviews, I thought this was going to be a quiet room. We traveled with 2 little ones, so I know families can be loud, but the noise was nonstop during our entire cruise. We did a Bahamas sailing, so I'm not sure if the amount of families traveling had anything to do with all the discomfort we experienced. The location is convenient, that's about all the positives. If you have the chance to upgrade, by all means do. We were told it was a full ship and Guest services could not provide us with a better alternative. The porthole is standard, not one of those huge ones you see on the promotional stuff with kids sitting in the windows. It is located right across from the crew door, so every morning around 6:30 am you here the screeching carts and doors opening and closing. Since you're next to the elevator, we were constantly hearing people yell/run down the halls. We had random kids just knocking on our doors too. We also heard all the ship noise of the embarking/disembarking, for the last 3 days of our trip, it woke us at 5:00 am. Since you are below the adult areas, you will also hear what sounded like horse races above you late into the night. Needless to say, we did not have a relaxing time. Naps were impossible which lead to everyone being a bit cranky. We were just happy to get off the boat.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 2030 Condition: 4
Deck: 2 Category: 9B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 12/21/13

Notes: the cabin was quiet most of the time but noisy when in port as the gangway is directly under the window. Very convenient for everything, plenty of room. BUT don't waste your money on a Christmas cruise, DISNEY no longer give Christmas presents to the kids. they charge thousands of pounds extra but you get nothing extra for your money. all the money Disney make and they cannot even give the kids a stuffed toy from Santa. Even NCL & P&O give the kids a present. SHAME ON YOU DISNEY CRUISE LINE.

Deck: 2 Category: 9A Location: Mid

Notes: Amazing room location. At times I did hear rumbeling underneath, but it was time to get up anyway. After some shows, there was a smell of sulfar in the halls, but nothing that bothered me. The location is so wonderful! Pleanty of room for everything. The fridge kept everything cold! There were reports of a sewer smell in the bathroom. I smelled it, but after it was reported, the smell seemed to go away.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 2030 Condition: 3
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 05/01/11

Notes: Think twice!!!! That sums it up. We upgraded at port for this ocean view room and what a disappointment!! The room itself was beautiful. Most comfortable bed ever and pillows, OMG!!! The large porthole was great and kids can sit in window so its a nice upgrade from Wonder and Magic. Bathrooms seemed bigger and closet has better organization to it. Now the bad.....the spetic system backs up into sink, sounding like a erupting volcano of septic fumes. Can be heard from hall. Had maintenance there 3 times with no repair. Noise is really bad on last night since luggage area is under room. Loud metal banging noises all night. Even though location was great we would not stay here again.

Notes: Great cabin in perfect condition. However, a little noisy on the morning on port days. Not enough to wake you up, but maybe enough to keep you awake before you want to be!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 2030 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 08/22/09

Notes: The greatest room! We were scared at first being on a low level deck. There was no noise at all. The location was directly off form the elevators. We were 2 floors from the theatre, and 1 floor from main dining. The location was just wonderful. Plenty of storage for a family of 4. The refrigerator was great to keep drinks cold. The huge window was also an added bonus. I will be booking this room again.

Notes: We loved this room. It was perfect! We were the second room in the hall next to the elevator lobby and 1 deck down from WaveBands. You would think it would be noisy with a lot of people walking past to/from the elevators, but it wasn't. We connected w/ cabin 2032 and it was wonderful! Plenty of room...didn't even use the steamer trunk. Loved the huge porthole window...waterline was not too far below. Son loved the pulldown bed every night! Quiet location...would definitely book this room again!

Notes: Right off the foward elevators. The only noise we heard was when the infant in the adjoining room was crying. Plenty of room.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 2030 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 09/03/06

Notes: We found this room to be very convenient for our needs. It was only one deck down to tender for excursions and it was only one or two decks up to the restaurants. It was also easy to get to the Walt Disney Theater since it was a forward cabin (and that's where we went for the muster drill). We found the cabin to be quite and enjoyed being able to see the loading and unloading in Nassau. This room connected with 2032 and we LOVED having our own cabin while the kids had theirs. Both cabins had a pull down bed so they would sleep 4 and both cabins had a single steamer trunk. We loved the location and have booked the same cabins but on the starboard side for our next cruise.
