Notes: Overall a very convenient location for dining and getting on and off of the ship. Outstanding views of the Cabo landmarks and interesting to watch the transit through the Panama Canal locks.
Very noisy on port days on arrival and departure with the crew preparing the gangway below. Also heard the crew door (stateroom host area) that is across from this room slam way too often. We did not hear anything from above the room. Based upon reviews, this is why we switched, before the cruise, from our original aft starboard side 9C stateroom.
I will probably not choose this room again. |

Notes: Very convenient as close to both stairs and elevator. Easy to get on and off ship at ports as exit is only 1 floor below.
Not too far from the laundry room (which I used a few times)
Only noise was when the stateroom hosts chatted by the cupboard opposite (which wasn't often).
Room was clean, beds were comfy and no problems with anything. Would rebook room.
2ad & 2ch age 7 & 9 had plenty of room. Single steam trunk in room. |

Notes: What a great location for a room! It's right off the elevators and is super quiet! It does include a single trunk too! I would definitely try to request this room again. Plenty of room inside for the two of us. Would have been very fine for a family of four too! |

Notes: Great room! Nice size for a family of 4. Great location. Right by AFT elevators. Quick walk up to most dinning rooms and easy elevator ride to deck 9 (Beach Blanket Buffet and drink station). Despite being near elevators it was very quiet. |

Notes: Best feature: Location! No walking down long corridors & less waiting for elevators when they're crowded. When you come in from port, just walk up stairs 1 flight to room. For Topsiders, the aft elevator opens up right outside it. This aft elevator never seems as busy as the aft and fwd ones. There isn't a stateroom across the hall - just the elevator lobby. And we didn't have noise from elevator lobby at all. Great room, want to stay here next time. |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 2118 | Condition: 4 |
Deck: 2 | Category: 9 | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 11/16/06 | ||
Notes: I rated above average because it was a larger than average, clean room with the split bath setup - which is true of nearly all rooms. Our room smelled like the engine room when we first entered, but the smell disapaited during the cruise.
It was more noisy than other rooms down the hall due to being right next to the elevator wait area. But not enough to keep you awake all night. Being close to the aft elevators was nice as they tended to have the least wait times. |

Notes: Room was not noisy at all and in my mind, it was a perfect location. You couldn't feel any movement of the ship. The elevator was right outside the door basically. It was one floor up to Parrot Cay and two floors up to Animators Palate. It was an elevator ride away from Palo and the Mickey pool and it was one flight up from the gangway, so it was very quick to and from the room for just about everything we needed. I didn't notice any traffic being next to the elevator. That is likely because it is on the aft side of the elevator and not the midship side. Great views from the large porthole window as well. |

Notes: This room is right across from aft elevators. Easy access to beverage station and Beach Blanket. Great views of ports when docked. Loved it, would request it again.
Cons: A little noise from those getting to/from elevator but I am sure any room would have problems due to loud people who run up/down the halls. |
