Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 2140 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 2 | Category: 9C | Location: Aft |

Notes: Overall, the room is great...lots of storage, good location to get around ship. Everything is in good condition. We have previously stayed in this room in 2010. We were aware of noise and vibration from the thrusters. As we only had five ports and two were tender ports out of 14 days, we decided to stay here again. We also had the connecting room 2138. Noise and vibration were the same as expected. What made these rooms unbearable for us was the strong smell of food that would come into the room around 3 or 4 in the morning, then 7 to 9, then around 3 or 4 in the afternoon and 7 in the evening. It was so strong that it would wake me up in the middle of the night. On escargot nights was the worst. My husband even had his eyes start burning, because the garlic was so strong. I am someone who really loves food, and has no sensitivities, but the intensity of the smell made me nauseous. While we loved these rooms, we will have to forgot this area of the Magic in the future. |

Notes: The room itself was great, however in close proximity to the thrusters. When pulling into port, thrusters are very loud and has lots of vibration, especially for the person in the top bunk. I would not stay in the aft section of this deck again. |
