Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 2500 Condition: 4
Deck: 2 Category: 9B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 03/29/19

Notes: We found this stateroom to be great. It is the furthest forward, the last room in the hall. This room is surrounded by 2 cast member doors and stateroom 2502. There was some noise during shows from the Walt Disney Theater and noise from anyone using a mic at Crown and Fin (trivia, etc) but not too loud or annoying. I barely heard any cast members entering or exiting through the doors. You could hear some noise from the ship while docking but again, nothing too invasive or annoying. There is a larger bench where the porthole is which is great for sitting and the curtain closes so it's like its own little section of the room. We found ourselves sitting there quite frequently. The porthole is slanted due to the design of the ship but it gave us a better view of the water vs. a straight window. For us, it was nice being so close to all of the adult areas which are all on the forward part of the ship. The only drawback was there was no steamer trunk but if our party of 3 was cut down to 2 it would be fine. I would totally get this stateroom again.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 2500 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 06/15/15

Notes: This cabin gives you extra shelf room at this window that can be used to store luggage or to sit/lay down comfortably. I liked the location because there was no movement in the hallway. It is a long walk from forward elevator but hallway is wider. We prefer the forward elevators and lower deck. There were some music from the orchestra and during docking but nothing that interfered with our enjoyment.

Notes: We stayed in room 2500 on the recent west bound transatlantic cruise and loved being on deck 2. The room was really spacious, plenty big enough for two people. Being right at the front of the ship however meant we got an early morning wake up call when arriving into port as you could feel the anchor vibrations and hear the chains moving through the cabin. We were awake by 05.00 on mornings when we arrived in port early due to the room vibrating and the noise. However, I will request deck 2 on future cruises just in a more central location.

Notes: Nice layout and very spacious for a family of 4 with 2 younger children. My sister and niece hung out many times and it was still very spacious. The built-in bench under the window was a nice surprise (about 2-3 feet deep). It was like having 3 parts to your room because there was a curtain dividing the bench, kid area and adult bed. The window was slanted but not a problem. Loved the proximity to the water; great views of the dolphins on our 2nd day. Very private being as it was the last room which we loved. A little of a walk especially since deck 2 is longer than most but it was not a problem at all and we returned to the room many many times for things. Laundry on deck 2 but on the other side. Pull down bunk and sofa that converted; very nice setup. Split bath and lots of storage. Would get this room again.

Notes: Loved this location. Everything was clean and in good working order when we traveled. 2500 is immediately opposite the stage door of the Walt Disney Theater (two levels above on deck 4)--While you could hear what was going on above, it was not loud or disturbing--but it was fun to get an early--or late--listen to some of the wonderful performances by leaving the stateroom door open and eavesdropping. There is no hall traffic to speak of, as there are no rooms across from or beyond 2500. The only passersby are your room attendant, an occasional crew member (...and the rare and sneaky fish extender delivery person, if you are participating in the exchange...). There is no steamer trunk in this stateroom, but it does have extra storage space because, as this room is the foremost on the starboard side of the ship, the curve of the exterior wall toward the bow lends itself to the creation of a kind of window seat in front of the porthole--quite wide and deep. You can sit up there--or suitcases (and still have room to sit up there--which I did...often!). The seat/ shelf area is large enough that you can draw the curtains inward from the left and the right of the porthole to cover your bags, but still have the porthole visible. Access to the elevators is a short walk down the hall, and via the forward elevator you are delivered directly to the Walt Disney Theater, Vista Spa, Route 66/Wavebands, the sports deck, and have easy access to Triton's for dining. There is some mechanical noise at this end of the ship when coming into and departing port--not a lot and not terribly loud, but if the thought of that disturbs you, you might not like this location. It never bothered us at all. This was an exceedingly agreeable location.

Notes: This was an AMAZING ROOM! We sail every year for five years and we continue to choose this stateroom. When in Port, it is just a short walk to the gangway, witch means FIRST OFF THE SHIP! Although, if you intend on an evening nap, or a putting your kids down around 2:00PM, forget about it. It is just across the hall from the WD Theater's "Pit". So you hear ALL of the songs and some of the thuds, but after about 10:00 PM it is silent. It is a great room if you are going to be out all night or if you have teens.

Notes: I was worried about this room being all the way forward, but it was totally fine. It was not noisy at all except when the anchor was dropping at a port. I had a family of 4 and we fit fine.
