Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 2502 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 09/11/23

Notes: Very quiet location on the ship overall as there's not much foot traffic, and has an interesting shelf below the porthole which was quite convenient to dry our wet clothes during our Alaska cruise. The porthole is a little smaller than average and angled downward a little toward the ocean and not out to land - saw a whale right under our ship one day, which was only possible due to the angle of the window! You do have some motion/vibration/noise when the ship is docking, but only sometimes, so it must be specific thrusters/propellers that cause it. You are below the Walt Disney Theater somewhat, and some noise from shows/movies also can be heard; I suspect we're close to the lower level of the show spaces, it's mainly bass notes that come through, but it didn't really disturb us as shows are over well before we were trying to sleep. Overall, we were pleased with the room.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 2502 Condition: 4
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 03/04/20

Notes: The "Book" said it was noisey and I guess it was because of the mechanics that go on when you dock at a port. If you were a light sleeper you would be a wakened but you could get back to sleep. We viewed it as a signal to get up and going. The book also said it was hard to get to. I had a vision in my head of narrower hallways and having a hard time passing others in the hall. What they really should tell you is that its a bit foward of the foward elevator. For us, it was just a chance to burn calories to make room for the next meal. Our kids also liked the ledge in front of the window. That part of the ship narrows which structurally provided the ledge

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 2502 Condition: 2
Deck: 2 Category: 8A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 09/16/19

Notes: My son got bitten by bed bugs and after they denied it a guest representative called me admitted it was bed bugs and apologized with a back pack and a stationary. Very sad and not at all what Disney is suppose to be all about. I’ve travelled and cruised and never have we been bitten by bed bugs. Disgusting!!!!

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 2502 Condition: 4
Deck: 2 Category: 9C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 08/20/18

Notes: We loved this room as a family of 4. It is slightly larger than a standard room due to its location, to fit a pack and play between the end of the couch and window. There is also a ledge in front of the window which was great for kids to stand (or adults to sit...all 4 of us at one point) on and look out the porthole. It was quiet in regards to foot traffic, however you could hear noise during docking and shows in the theater. Room also had a narrow chest of drawers for additional storage (not available in all rooms). Would stay here again!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 2502 Condition: 3
Deck: 2 Category: 9C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 11/11/17

Notes: The size of the room was small but I may have been spoiled with my first Disney cruise. The window was not as big as I thought because I thought it would be the sit in size. It's pretty large but its high up and also at an angle so it's awkwardly spaced. The room was pretty cramped but it's still nice.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 2502 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 10/06/14

Notes: Room was great, large shelf/sitting area in front go the porthole. Nice size room. You do get a bit of noise from the hall as there is a crew entrance close. But no fear of people taking magnets or FE because only those coming to deliver will go all the way down the hall!! Perfect for my family of 4!

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 2502 Condition: 3
Deck: 2 Category: 9B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 11/03/12

Notes: I loved the location of the room, just off the forward elevators. Since it was only adults in the room it made getting to the Quiet Cove pool very quick and easy. It was definitely noisy when we would get into port since we were just above the forward gangway. The big problem was that our toilets would intermittenly refuse to flush. They said that they fixed it and then it would happen again. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the timing, which left us afraid to use the bathroom! It never was really fixed. It even occurred the final morning.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 2502 Condition: 3
Deck: 2 Category: 9C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 07/12/11

Notes: This room was noisy during final docking, in port it was not too bad. Could occasionally hear music from above, but it never lasted too long. Could hear ice hitting the ship! A large drawback is the proximity to the crew cabin area - if you don't like cigarette smoke then don't book this cabin! The smell permeated the room every morning - thought it was the next cabin but then the door to the crew area was left open one night and it was clear that was where the stench was coming from. The toilet area also smelled like bilge several times. The room has a tiny bit more space and there is an additional storage unit which came in very handy! You get your exercise though as it is very far forward and away from the main action. Views from the porthole were wonderful as you are close to the water. You can feel the ship move a lot if the sea is choppy - we loved it, but some may not if they are prone to seasickness. We would book it again if not for the cigarette smell.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 2502 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 05/16/10

Notes: This room was perfect for us (married couple-but we would also have been perfectly comfortable had we brought our 20 yo / 6'4" son). Because it's so far forward, at the curve of the bough, there is an additional 2-1/2 feet in length between the desk/sofa and the porthole ledge - and the ledge adds another 1 to 2 feet in length to the room (plenty of room for extra storage or sitting to look out the porthole). I would have no problem saying that this room has enough extra space to make it comparable to the cat. 4 family verandah staterooms - except there is a port hole, no verandah. It was also very cool (temp wise) - meaning that the a/c actually cooled better than any of the rooms in our 6 previous Disney cruises. It's the 2nd stateroom starboard which means it's a long walk to the mid-ship/aft areas (food) but very convenient to adult areas which are forward. There is a little 'noise' (nothing to wake you from a sleep) when the ship arrives in port and a little bleedthrough music from the theater - but again nothing we found to remotely deter us from requesting this stateroom again! Another plus is that the muster station (A) is in the Walt Disney Theater - so you can sit in the a/c while everyone else is crowded out on the prominade deck in the heat (during summer). This stateroom was in excellent condition and we will definitely request it again! It is most likely the same is extended size as the mirror image stateroom of 2002. There are also no across the hall neighbors. Best cat. 9 on the ship!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 2502 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 01/30/10

Notes: We loved this room!!! It has extra space in front of the window ledge that would be perfect if you were using a PacknPlay. The only downside was the rocking of the ship when crossing the Straits on the way back to the port. We didn't have much of an issue with noise from the night club above or the machinery. We want this room again!!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 2502 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 05/05/07

Notes: We ADORED this room. We want to request it again. 4 of us stayed very comfortably. We experienced the same bow thruster noise that has been reported in nearby staterooms, but just when entering ports in the morning, never lasting more than about 15 minutes. But it does come awfully early (5:30 or so) on the last day.
