Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 2524 | Condition: 4 |
Deck: 2 | Category: 9C | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 07/29/19 | ||
Notes: Super convenient location close to forward elevators and stairwells. Only a few stairs away from Walt Disney Theatre and the entertainment district of the ship. We heard no noise from the stairwells or entertainment areas. Room is directly above loading bay (on first day of cruise we watched luggage being loaded on the ship from our very large porthole window) however the noise only bothered us a bit on disembarkation day. Even with 4 of use sharing the room (2 adults and boys age 14 & 11) there was lots of storage for clothes etc. Beds make into bunk which was cool for the kids. Based on previous reviews we were somewhat concerned that there would not be sufficient electrical outlets but Disney seems to have rectified this problem by adding additional plug ins so even with 4 cell phones, an ipad plus other electronics we had no problems charging simultaneously. On our first day we had some issues with finding LOTS of glitter on the carpet and in the beds but the Room steward did a thorough cleaning and changed the bedding for us. We would definitely choose this room again. |

Notes: I am a Disney Cast Member and had the opportunity to stay in cabin 2524 aboard the Disney Wonder for one of their Halloween Cruises. This was my 1st time ever staying in a ocean view cabin and I was very pleased. I was concerned about being placed on the 2nd floor and the possibility of noise issues and being on a low floor away from all of the guest areas.
This was a great cabin. My girlfriend had never been on a Disney Cruise and she loved this room and the ship. The cabin was well maintained and we had a great hostess taking care of our cabin.
The room was spacious enough for the 2 of us and it was nice to have the split bathroom. The porthole was nice to have although we had the curtain covering it because during the day, there was too much sunlight coming into the cabin.
This cabin was located near the forward elevators and it was very convenient when going to the Walt Disney Theater for the evening shows.
We had a great time in this cabin and the room was well kept and the a/c was in good working order.
I recommend this cabin for anyone who is looking for a nice room without a verandah.
You can never go wrong with any Disney Cruise or stateroom but this was a nice option and more affordable than the verandah cabins. |

Notes: It was our 3 cruise with Disney magic. But I didnt realize what we have under my cabin, very bad it was the ramp in and out traffic for the ship each time that we dock you could ear the very one working and the early in the morning so we just was to observe them from the window it was to early even to go the eat breakfast . My advise now is to check the floor map to see what we have under and upper of the cabin that I choice. Thanks that we did not dock every day because it was a 7 day cruise so we stop only 3 port and went we arrive at port carnaveral, as you been in the cruise you don't want to leave cabin , yeap early in the morning up again my
Advice is don't book on the 2nd floor at all |

Notes: This room was fine, right near the forward elevators. Our only complain is that it is right above the loading dock. It is very noisy on port days. On day of embakation, all we heard was banging from luggage being loaded, and the same started at 5:30am on disembarkment day. |
