Ship: Disney Wish | Stateroom: 2575 | Condition: 4 |
Deck: 2 | Category: 11C | Location: Mid |
Sail Date: 08/21/23 | ||
Notes: The room appeared much smaller than expected and what we are used to in an 11C category. The room was very quiet and very clean. It was literally shaped like a square box. Behind the door and along the wall to the left as you enter is a small closet with life vest, robes and hangers. The vanity beside/attached to that closet and then the couch/bed. There was no room between the couch and wall.
About 2 steps into the room and turn right and your bathroom door was immediately on the right. Very small but the shower had a glass door with tile.
Immediately in front of the bathroom door is the bed.
The foot of the bed was directly in front of the couch. There is very little space between the couch and the foot of the bed.
On each side of the bed is a very small shelf and small closets with hangers. The closest on the far wall has the safe. There is open space beneath the queen bed.
This is literally a square box with no space to spare. While we had 2 adults and 1 teen, the couch/bed really isn’t large enough for a teen, especially a tall one.
The TV is quite large and was on the wall which you face as you enter the room (opposite the door). There is a doorbell outside the door. A plastic card in a slot to keep lights on if you wish.
There is also a “highlight” option for the bathroom if you choose to keep that on at night. There is no curtain in the room to separate the bed from the couch for a third person. I can’t say I would recommend this room for a party of 3 unless your child is younger. While I understand the “approximately 169sq ft”, I would lean towards the “approximate” side as this room felt much smaller than those I’m used to on other boats. I would compare it to the size of perhaps a luggage storage room. It’s likely perfect for a party of 2 as I would consider it “intimate”. Other than size, no issues with the room. I would say the distance to stairs was equal no matter which way you chose to go down the hallway.
The closet attached to the wall with the TV did have approximately 5 shelves to place clothing. The closet on the opposite side of the bed was a hanging closet with more hangers. So that’s 2 closets with space to hang clothes.
There was one hook in the room to use to hand clothing or whatever. The room would be warm at times but ensure you turn on the chill button on the thermastat and it does cool. |

Notes: Had adjoining cabin, 2577, also. Very quiet and rather spacious compared to similar category on other cruise lines (Royal Caribbean, Carnival).
Very convenient access to stairs and elevators. Ideal for large party of 4 adults and 3 children. |
