Notes: The location of this room is great. However-we had a wet floor near the bathroom with a mildew smell so bad that after 3 days we were moved to another stateroom. They tried drying it with a huge fan and an air purifier, but they didn't help and it only got worse each day. We were told this room on the next sailing would remain empty to fix it. In addition, our one wave phone did not work, the light next to the bed was broken, the bathroom light had a loud buzzing noise and the electric switch near bathroom was not flush to the wall (dangerous). We have been on 20 DCL cruises and this was the worst condition of any stateroom we have ever had. We had to move rooms on our son's birthday (not fun)and the room we were then assigned was nice but the tv and one entire wall switches were not working. We had bad luck I guess. We were not offered a discount in any way (nor did we ask but probably should have) but did get a verbal apology. |

Notes: The room itself was clean and very comfortable with lots of storage, but not enough height under the bed to store our not very big suitcase.
Please beware that this cabin has a connecting door to #2581 and during our cruise it was occupied by the family from hell- a woman whose regular speaking voice was set at maximum, two children who screamed and cried and stamped their feet repeatedly. They showed no awareness that we were even next door to them.We never heard a sound from the other cabins.deck 2 midships is a good location for acess to lobby and restaurants on deck 3.
Unless the occupants of the connecting cabin are your own family my advice would be avoid this cabin. |

Notes: We booked this room and the connecting room beside it (2581) to share between 2 adults and 2 small children.
The set up was great for space and sleeping!
It was close to both the mid and port elevators for trips to dinners/clubs, etc.
We felt the noise of the engines here but that lulled us to sleep. It also was better for more stability of motion (I get sea sick and felt more motion in the higher decks and forward/aft).
We have booked these rooms again for our next cruise! There were also steamer trunks in each of the rooms for storing all our clothes. |

Notes: This room was excellent! We heard no noise at night while trying to sleep (the only time we were in the room really). It is very conveniently located near the midship elevators. There was plenty of room for myself, DH, DS 11, DS 8 and DS 4 plus all of our luggage (7 bags & 2 backpacks). Split bathroom was great, large steamer trunk was awesome and the bed was very comfortable. Felt very little movement, only a slight rumble was felt when standing in the middle of the room (from engines I assume). Would DEFINITELY stay in this room again! |

Notes: Great location....handy for dinners, shows, and tenders. It was quiet and we felt little movement. We had an excellent room host who kept the room spotless. It slept four comfortably, but was tight when all of us (me, DH and 2 teens) were in there at the same time getting ready for dinner! The split bath was helpful. |
