Deck: 2 Category: 9D Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 01/02/23

Notes: Actual sailing date was Jan 02, 2024 but wasn’t an option on the pulldown. As others have mentioned the Lumiere food prep area is directly above the closet area for this room. The sit down breakfast was scheduled every day in Lumier’s, so they would start prepping at 6am, which became my wake up call as the noise was fairly loud, even with using white noise makers in the room to knock out other noise. That helped for the occasional hallway door closing, but not for the noise upstairs. I escalated to our stateroom person but there is not much that can be done. Everything else about the room was great. Oh, and I laughed when I read back in 2006 the shower head would not stay in one place because guess what…it still doesn’t stay in place! Lol. If given the option, select a room a little more forward of this one, maybe 1-2 more cabins.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 2586 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 9B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 06/18/16

Notes: Room was clean and fairly large. It was midship which was convenient to elevators and basically everything you wanted to go to. I LOVE the split bathroom. Only negative was the noise. It is below crew space that I believe they use as a possible office area. However, it was noisy at night with banging and things dropping. My husband and daughter never heard it but I am a light sleeper. I brought ear plugs so it didn't bother me often but it was worth noting.

Notes: We loved this cabin and the whole cruise! It was our first Disney Cruise. The location was great, so close to all of the dining options. We hardly ever used the elevator, walked everywhere! The porthole was enormous with great views of the water! I felt like we were one with the water, almost, so to speak, that's how close it was. There was plenty of space for all 3 of us to unpack and store our luggage(we had lots, lol)! It also was very quiet at night. We did not hear any banging in the middle of the night!

Notes: There was quite a bit of noise from the deck above, primarily between 10pm and midnight. However, the room was extremely convenient to the dining and other main facilities on decks 3 and 4.

Notes: Location was good at midship on the Magic. Nice to have a porthole and split bath as we originally booked an 11C inside stateroom that has neither. Generally we liked and enjoyed the room. Our stateroom hostess was wonderful. Issues included: the door to the beverage cooler did not work well; it was damaged because it rubbed up against all the door hardware. Also, one of the wave phones had no signal and we had to get a new one delivered. As for noise, each night between 10:30-11:30 there was a lot of noise from the Lumiere's galley above. There must be some kind of regular activity at that time. Also when going to sleep is when we really noticed the noise from the ship engines. But the noise from the galley and the engines did not give us cause to complain; it was tolerable in both cases.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 2586 Condition: 4
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 11/24/10

Notes: Really liked the location of the room. Close to aft and Mid elevators. Room was in pretty good shape. Other reviews talk about noise from the galley above, but we did not find the room noisy at all. There is some engine noise(really a hum)at times but nothing that kept us up or in any way kept us from enjoying the room.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 2586 Condition: 3
Deck: 2 Category: 9 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 10/07/06

Notes: Room was quite noisy--lots of vibration and humming noises, along with doors upstairs slamming at all hours of the night. Room was clean, but we did have a problem with both the toilet not working one night (apparently everyone on the 2nd deck had the same problem) and the showerhead not staying in place. Otherwise, it was a good room for three of us--two adults and an infant in a crib.
