Notes: In this room and surrounding rooms, you could hear a sound of banging metal. It sounded like elves in the walls with little hammers hitting metal pipes. We heard a few explanations around this sound, but none seemed accurate. Some of the surrounding rooms were moved to "sleeping only" rooms.... There stuff stayed in the loud room and they slept in a different room. We stayed with this room, but if you are a light sleeper you will not get any sleep. It happened the whole trip as well. You an also hear them moving tables around above you after the second dinning. There was some ware and tare in the room, but I didn't think that was to bad. I will sail again but will not pick these lower decks. |

Notes: I loved the convenience of this room to everything, but that was it. The furnishings were looking and feeling quite worn. We had some days that the toilet wouldn't flush and then would suddenly at random times make a really loud noise. On rougher sea days I could hear things rolling and banging around above. During almost every day there was loud metal work grinding below us (I don't know if this was unique to our transatlantic cruise). I would not book this room again though. |

Notes: This was a great location, close to elevators but not right at the doorway and easy to get to cabanas up top or to dinner one or two decks up in Animators and Tiana's. Quiet hall and the room was in great condition! No issues with any unusually loud noises. |

Deck: 2 | Category: 9C | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 06/30/12 | ||
Notes: We booked this room because it has an interior connection to 2622. Unfortunately, the noice past midnight and throughout the night even after expressing concerns to guest services would kleep me from booking or recommending these rooms ever again! Further, had I been a 1st time cruises, I'd never return to DCL. |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 2624 | Condition: 4 |
Deck: 2 | Category: 9 | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 07/23/09 | ||
Notes: We booked rooms connecting (2624/2622) - and found them to be clean, comfortable, and set-up exactly as requested prior to our arrival-(one with indivual twins). Didn't notice any noise. Since our trip on the same ship in 2007, noticed some missing perks- very limited bath supplies; smaller chocolates at night with turn-down service; no postcards in the desks. I'd book these rooms again though! |

Deck: 2 | Category: 9 | Location: Mid |

Notes: It seemed a little noisey to me! It was right below a retuarant I think! And on port days they were working on the life rafts right outside our rooms! |
