Notes: Note: I sailed in this cabin January 12, 2024 - only option to select for year was 2023.
Great cabin location, quick elevator to Cove Cafe and adults area (we were just 2 adults traveling) so the location is perfect. No noise concerns since this hallway is very secluded and the only people going through this area are CMs and the folks in the other surrounding staterooms. HOWEVER, if there is any kind of rockiness or rough waters, you will definitely feel it in this room. Sea days are probably the roughest if you are prone to sea or motion sickness. We did love the "sideways" look of the room as it made the room feel even bigger and would do another sideways inside room again. |

Notes: We had connecting rooms with 5011 on our cruise. We are a family of 5 that cruised with kids that were 5, 3 and 10 months. This room as well as 5011 have a bunk bed from the ceiling. My wife and I stayed in 5011 and the kids were in 5009. The setup we had for the kids was a bunk bed, sofa bed and a pack and play. The kids did not want to use the main bed. There was still enough room to walk around the pack and play to access the bathrooms/closets.
The room does not have a split bath, but since we had adjoining rooms that did not matter. Both rooms have magic portholes which are very nice. Although the rooms are inside, it doesn't feel like you are in a box. The magic portholes can be turned on and off with a switch. It was nice getting surprise visits by different characters on the screen.
On our first day I thought we had made a mistake getting a room so far forward. It felt like quite a hike to get to the rooms but after a few trips the rooms did not feel so far away from the rest of the ship. The location on Deck 5 was a great benefit since it is on the same deck as all the Kids Clubs and Nursery. We were also close to the main atrium for character visits and main dining (except for Animator's Palate which is aft). The forward elevators are nearby and aren't used often so we could use the elevators to go up to Deck 11 or up to the spa easily.
Going into port you felt and heard vibrations but other then that the rest of the cruise was fine. I didn't think there was much foot traffic outside our rooms. We didn't really hear much noise from the theater which is only 1 deck below the room.
Overall we loved the rooms and have booked the same rooms for our upcoming Fantasy cruise. |

Notes: Very forward room, quiet even though it was beside the entrance to The Vibe. Connected with 5011; quiet, nicely laid out room. |

Notes: This stateroom is a "sideways" stateroom, meaning the door is right in the center on the longest side (similar to where it would be in an adjoining room). I felt that the room was more susceptible to hallway noise because of this setup as there wasn't the "buffer" of the bathrooms, closet, and hallway that you have in a "regular" room. When you opened the door, looking straight in are the couch/bunk-bed, to the left is the King bed, TV, and vanity/desk, and to the right are the bathroom and closets. The couch/bunk beds were basically only about 4ft. away from the door. We were across the hall from a particularly loud and unruly family, which accentuated the noise problem. If not for this other family, it may have not even been an issue.
Though this room only has a single bathroom (vice the split bathroom found in other categories), it didn't inconvenience our family of 3...we just had to take turns as we would in any other hotel room on land.
Everything in the room was in good working order, smelled fresh, and was overall well maintained.
Bonus: Because of the room's "sideways" setup, we were able to put a pop-up laundry hamper outside the bathroom door without impeding access to the closet or bathroom because there was no door to have to open as there would have been in a "regular" room. |

Notes: I love this room, location and our hostess Doneta Brown was the very best. During the shows you can slightly hear the music but I would not normally be in the room at that time anyway. THe room had a urine odor at first but Doneta worked tirelesly and invloved a supervisor and was able to get the room tip top by day two. |

Notes: This was our 7th Disney cruise, 4th on the Magic, and this room was the best one yet.
An 11B "sideways" room, it offered the feeling of twice the space of our usual 11A staterooms. No more mincing steps to get around either side of the bed, plenty of room to store your belongings with additional storage compartments, and closets that have bars running left-right rather than back-forth. There was even ample room at the wall by the closet and bathroom to keep a suitcase out. PERFECT!
The room was quiet overall; one day we were getting ready for dinner and heard a tiny bit of noise from the theatre below.
It was incredibly easy to get to anywhere on the ship from this location; one of the nicest features was just stepping out of your hallway and walking to the 5th floor balcony which overlooks the lobby atrium.
Although the Magic is already in need of drydock, with her age showing in the form of rust spots throughout the ship, our room was neat and clean and in good working order. We were surprised coming in one night to find our room host and a maintenance worker there while the worker repaired something with the toilet. We hadn't even known it was broken! Now that's care and attention!
We had visitors dropping by with FE gifts and on the occasions we saw them, everyone ooohed and aaahed over our sideways room. We'd definitely request this type room again and again. |

Notes: Although it was very close to the Teen Club, we never heard any loud noises. It was a standard size room. Not alot of foot traffic in the area. Being on the same floor as the kids club made it convienient for us to go back and forth. The closest forward elevator took u straight up to the Adult pool. |

Notes: Great room and nice location. If you have children who will be going to bed before 9:30, this is NOT the room for you. It is right above the Walt Disney World Theater and you can hear every word of the show if you happen to be in your cabin from 6-9:30. It was not an issue for us, but once I was there and heard how loud it was. This is a sideways facing cat.11 and there is no corner shelving in the bathroom so bring the over the door shoe hanger. |
