Notes: We loved this room! It was so big. It has two separate portholes and two televisions in the room. The muster station is the Walt Disney Theatre where they hold the stage shows. A few things this room doesn’t have. Surprised they only have it sleep 3 and not 4. This room does not have the pull down ceiling bunk. It only has the couch bed. It does not have the split bathroom. It also doesn’t have the curtain to separate the room like the other rooms (we brought our own hung with magnets from the ceiling, make sure they are strong). There is only one outlet on the porthole side of the bed nightstand not the other. The rest of the plug options are on the desk. It is nice that is located away from the elevators and high traffic areas. You do hear some sound from the stage shows if you’re in the room instead of attending the shows but it wasn’t enough to bother us. If you have a child that is attending the Vibe kids club there is a door just down the hall that opens to just outside the kids club entrance. Anyone can access that door as another way to get outside to walk down to deck 4.

Notes: This room is incredible!!. two huge sitting windows, extra long desk with extra storage and drawers. The room is a wider shape. The living room area has couch and chair. there is a half wall for more privacy and two TV. There is only one bathroom. No noise.

Notes: The cabin was great. The extra space was unbelievable! There were my wife and I as well as our 18 year old son and we were never cramped. There is only one bathroom in this cabin with the standard tub/shower but the cabin only sleeps 3 so there really was not much need for the two bathrooms. Closets seem really large, too, mainly because the doors swing open and are not the sliding doors used in most cabins. The two port holes have a seat but was best used for us as storage for a few extra items during the day. The curtains COMPLETELY block the sun even if it is shining directly in! The only noise we experienced was the cast member's door on the deck below that clicked shut throughout the day but it was always quiet at night. The cabin is close to the VIBE exit so we had a knock on door then run. I actually got good video through the PEEP HOLE with my GoPro and could have complained if it had happened more than once, but it did not. Overall, it was a great cabin and we would do it again if we could not get in concierge like this trip! If it is allowed, I have posted a video of the cabin. Notes: Absolutely worth the price. This room is a suite at an ocean view price and is highly demanded. It does not have a separate bAth but the amount of space makes up for it. Loved the double portholes and televisions. Cried when we had to depart and already planning the next vacay!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5020 Condition: 4
Deck: 5 Category: 10A Location: Forward

Notes: It was relatively quiet and convenient, I though we had plenty of space for the two of us and our two preschoolers. The SPH was definitely nice, we would book it again. Kids clubs were VERY convenient as well as the WD Theatre and FWD elevators. It felt much more centrally located than the rooms on 2, 6 and 7. Probably due to the proximity to a proper corridor rather than a stateroom hallway.

Notes: First, this is a secret porthole room, and so happy we had it. This (and 5520) are the least blocked views). We loved the location of this room - a dead end, quiet hallway on 5, close to the forward elevators which take you right up to the adult pool area. We walked decks 6 and 7 a few times (6 on the other side is nearest laundry - only inconvenience) and were SO happy we were not on those long corridors with lots of laundry/cleaning carts and strollers blocking the way (BTW, I was surprised Disney let people park strollers in the hallways). We did hear some overhead noise from the hall/rooms above and occasional foot traffic past our room, but nothing that kept us up. Also, the room has the split bath which I was happy we had as there were 4 in our party, but if we were only two, I would prefer the full bath. It can be cramped to move around. There is no steamer trunk in this room, but there were plenty of drawers for 4 of us and had no problem storing the luggage in the closet. I rated it a 4 as there was a musty smell in the room. Our State room stewardess did use air freshener each time she cleaned the room and once you were in the room, it was OK, but noticeable upon entering.

Notes: What an amazing room! It was huge - almost like a suite. There were 2 tvs and 2 portholes. The room was long instead of deep. The bathroom was not split, but the amount of space totally made up for it. My mum and youngest son stayed here, and it was almost like they had separate bedrooms. I would ask for this room again in a heartbeat. Close to theater and kids clubs, but no noise issues. Someone did rearrange door magnets one day, but room host was good about putting them back. He was super friendly as well. Great room!

Notes: Very convenient location to theater and kids club . Never heard a banging door noise from cast members across the hall cabin 5022. View is absolutely great with minimal obstruction.

Notes: Loved the location - deck 5 is our favourite. As this room is a Secret Porthole Room there is a lot of satisfaction to be had looking out the (only partially) obstructed window knowing that you paid for an inside room! No noise issues encountered.

Notes: We were lucky enough to get a Secret Porthole Room on this voyage. This was great for checking the weather, location, scenery, etc., without having to go out on deck. We are 2 adults who had concerns about being so close to the children's activities, but that was never an issue. It was very quiet in our area, with not a lot of foot traffic. We loved the deluxe head (bathroom) with a sink and commode on one side, a sink and shower on the other, separated by a solid wall. Storage room was quite adequate, with room under the beds for our luggage and lots of drawer space. The mini-fridge was quite handy, too. The queen bed was very comfy, and the coffee table raises up and down so you can use it as a dining table. Room was very clean and our room steward did an outstanding job. We're cruising again in Dec 07 and have already reserved room 5520, another SPH room on the opposite side of the ship.

Deck: 5 Category: 10 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 06/10/06

Notes: This was an excellent value--a Cat 8 room for a 10 price. We loved being close to the kids clubs & just above the theater, gift shop, & promenade. The hallways are wide, less confining, & w/ so few staterooms it's seems much quieter than other decks. It's nice to look out over the atrium too. There is a wall that prevents you from looking all the way to the right out of the porthole, but is otherwise one of the less obstructed SPH rooms. There is a light that stays on all night outside the porthole, so bring something to secure the curtain. It does not have the chest for storage, but is missing the wall bump, so you can store your luggage upright at the end of the bed & still get by it.

Notes: This is a great SPR room. Location is very convenient, we hardly used the elevators. There is a service door across the hall which occasionally made banging noise. But the conveience and SPR outweights any noise issue.
