Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 5022 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 5 | Category: 9A | Location: Forward |

Notes: Room is directly above the Walt Disney Theater, so if there is a performance going on, you will hear it. Only an issue if you planto spend quiet evenings in your stateroom.
As it is a forward stateroom, you will feel motion on choppy waters.
Otherwise, a pleasant room. Wasn’t bothered by being located on same deck as youth clubs.
Porthole view was wonderful. |

Notes: This is a room that is designed like a mini-suite with a wall between the bed (luggage fits under) w TV and sofa/chair/desk/closets. It has two large sitting portholes, one on each side. Room would be great for someone with a pack-n-play or crib need. So much space. Has two closets. The room has only one bathroom with tub/shower combo, sink and toilet. Our first stateroom without a balcony, didn't really miss it! Maybe at times missed a split bath but we managed. We were two adults. For some reason the ceiling seemed a tad lower in this room and very noticeable in the shower which seemed raised. So my warning for anyone very tall - this might not be an ideal stateroom. Room was relatively quiet from other guests. You will hear the engine/thrusters or whatever it is that makes those noises when docking. In Forward so great for us to take elevator straight up to Deck 13 the adult swim/lounge area. I would take this room again but would like it on the other side so there would be CC views. However yet, again, it was nice to see the world from the other side of the boat! One minus, not enough plugs, only one side of the bed had plugs for phone, etc. Its been fun to check out various types/secret rooms on the Disney Dream, and this is one of those! |

Notes: We spent 14 nights in this port-side secret porthole room on the 2017 WBPC. It sleeps 4, with the queen bed, sofa bed, and bunk. We had plenty of storage space, with a cabinet at the foot of the bed where the old blue steamer trunk was. I researched this room heavily and knew about the obstructed view and the crew door across from our door; I found neither to be overly bothersome. The sofa, however, is in need of repair due to broken springs (?) creating a hole in which one sits when directly opposite the tv. This is an adjoining room, and we heard music and conversations from the couple next door, who were not overly loud people. Most bothersome were two strange noises: one that I believe was closet doors being opened and closed (I thought it was the verandah room above us, but the rooms above were oceanviews), and the second a strange sloshing noise, as when moving water around to rinse off the soap when bathing a child. Not huge issues, but they make this room more a '4' than a '5.' I would book it again in a heartbeat, though! It saved us over $1200 compared to a verandah room. As mentioned elsewhere, you will see crewmen outside the porthole, both in port AND at sea! Dress accordingly. |

Notes: This is the second secret porthole stateroom and in my opinion the one with the best view (it has the least obstruction and you can easily look out). The room was in very good condition and everything was in good shape! The lecoation was great - right next to forward elevators, kids clubs, bar area, Walt Disney theatre. Though the good location near all these venues we never heard any noise! We would take that room again! |

Notes: This room has two large portholes, the room is larger widthwise than lengthwise. There is plenty of floor space (we had 7 people in the room at one time and did not find it crowded). This would be an ideal room if you have a stroller or a scooter, but don't need an accessible bath.
The bathroom is small and not split.
The rooms are over the Walt Disney Theatre, so during the shows you will hear the show and feel the vibrations.
This room Sleeps 3.
The desk in this room is the full length of the one wall and has plenty of storage. |

Notes: This is the second SPH room we have stayed in. We love the location. Very convenient to adult areas of ship and to the Walt Disney Theatre. Would have given it a 5 except for two things. 1. Water came out of shower head even when it was turned to the bath faucet only. 2. It smelled musty near the toilet area as you come inside. |

Notes: Excellent "secret porthole" room - a porthole, natural light, and a slightly-obscured view for the price of a Cat. 10 Inside cabin. Interior connecting door to Stateroom #5024. Plenty of room; steamer trunk for storage; sleeps 4 with pull-down bed. Would have given a 5* rating except there were noise problems on this sailing (just out of dry dock and having issues with both pipes below and machinery above). Very close to forward elevators (but no noise from same); very convenient to kids' clubs. I would choose this stateroom again in a heartbeat; one of the best values on the ship! |

Notes: Enjoyed this stateroom location - almost never entered an elevator. Great location near kids clubs and 1 flight up from W/D theater.
Complaint: Very noisy crew door directly across from us. The banging door started every morning around 5am, and happened 10 or 15 times as crew came up to take their am shift. Every day!
Friends in 5024 connecting and 5020 next door did not hear the noise. Door is directly across from 5022. |

Notes: Excellent value - view is almost unblocked and WELL worth the inside cabin rate. Don't hesitate. That said, it is an adjoiner and could be noisy with the "wrong" neighbors....but the money saved is worth it! Very close to the comfy blue chairs on deck 4 so you can live (pretty well) without a verandah. |

Notes: One of the secret port hole rooms and connects to 5024. We had both rooms. The obstruction to the port hole in this room is slight and it had the steamer trunk. No noise or motion sickness problems. Easy elevator access and close to the kids club but long ways to dining areas and Deck 9 drink station. |
