Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 5024 | Condition: 1 |
Deck: 5 | Category: 5C | Location: Mid |

Notes: Obstructed view and very loud. Near children center and could hear kids scream all night while trying to sleep. Should be downgraded. |

Notes: This room should not be a 5E due to the issues with the balcony. There is NO privacy since people on 5026 veranda can look directly into 5024. In order to get ready for dinner or for the day the curtain must be closed. We spoke to many people on the ship and on land regarding the issues with this room. So far all we have gotten was "sorry for the inconvenience." This is our 7th cruise and we did a 5E GTY, we will never again do a GTY room. When a CM from guest services came to the room I told her we basically had an inside stateroom because we need to keep the curtain closed so the neighbors can't see in. Very disappointed that we pd $800 for this "upgrade". When speaking to the CM at future cruise desk they know of the issues and have blocked the room - they will only give it to people if nothing else is available. Also, the top of the table we very damaged from previous guests. Stateroom host knew about this but there wasn't time to replace. This room does have a great location but there is noise from the theater. |

Notes: Lots of problems:
1) The balcony is less than half the depth of the other Cat 5E staterooms.
2) Because of the short balcony, people in 5026/5526 can look right into your stateroom (not just your balcony, your entire stateroom).
3) You are not at the edge of the ship, unlike all the other balconies.
4) The room is over the Walt Disney Theater, and the bass really (really!) comes into the room. This was a big problem on the pirate night when they had a 11:15 PM -1:45 AM showing of On Stranger Tides. |

Notes: Room was perfectfor our needs. Close to elevator, balcony level of Buena Vista theater, down one set of stairs to balcony of Walt Disney Theatre. Heard some bass and noise from the 6:00 pm show in Walt Disney, but not annoying. Also, if you need access to the Vibe, there was a very close wheelchair access door. Balcony partially obstructed, but not to a point where it was annoying. Took plenty of great shots from there. Room was ample in size for the three of us. |

Notes: Room was beautiful but verandah was partially blocked. Also this is not an extended verandah but the one beside it is. No privacy on the verandah.
Heard some bass/noise during the day from show rehersals. |
Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 5024 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 5 | Category: 10 | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 05/12/07 | ||
Notes: This is a connecting room. Only a problem if you have a screaming child next door. Heard occasional noise in the hall as it is the first one. Very convenient when getting/leaving luggage. View is NOT that bad at all. Allegedly the most obstructed, but really it is no problem. |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 5024 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 5 | Category: 10 | Location: Forward |
Sail Date: 09/04/05 | ||
Notes: This SPR is the first one by the Forward elevators. The clubs & nursery are on the same floor, so it was convenient for us. Very quiet, never saw any workers outside our obstructed porthole. It does have a steamer trunk and connects to 5022. Great room, hope to get it again in the future!! |

Notes: SPR, quite room, near elevators and stairs, no laundry room on floor, had the storage trunk, joining room w/5022, obstructed porthole w/worker outside alot. You could hear the lifeboats being lowered when tested. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. I loved this room and have booked same room in 2006. |
