Notes: We booked this cruise about a month before sailing. It was booked as a VGT and with a rate we could not pass up. We were delighted to be in a category 4E. However, the location of this stateroom is inconvenient for everything except for the children’s clubs and the theater. The balcony is deep, but the part that is not covered is visible to all the balconies above this cabin, so you feel really exposed while out on the balcony. Also, there are three of us and my daughter prefers the bed that pulls down from the ceiling. This cabin only has the sofa that converts to a bed. This could be a plus or minus depending on your travel party. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I had read some reviews about hearing noise from the theater and we did not experience any noise from the theater while in the cabin.

Notes: Loved this stateroom. Very convenient to dining and the theaters. Very easy to get up to the pools. Very quiet and the veranda was amazing. We had this stateroom and the connecting stateroom, 5032. Would love to book this stateroom again in the future.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5030 Condition: 2
Deck: 5 Category: 4E Location: Forward

Notes: Excellent, over sized verandah, but less privacy since all the folks on their verandahs on the decks above you look directly down at you since the 5th decks verandah extends out further than the decks above you. But the extra-large verandah is very nice. Clear Plexiglas verandah railing, no Navigators Verandah here. Convenient to the Spa and Adult Pool area several decks straight up. No complaints being on the same deck as the Oceaneer Club, room is far enough away to not be bothered. Not a significant issue, but if you do have a need, there is no laundry room close by. You must go UP one deck then walk forward a ways. I could not agree more with the previous post above about the noise. This room is DIRECTLY over the Walt Disney Theater. The source was NOT Disney rehearsing their stage shows, it was from them playing loud movies at times (Im NOT talking about the Buena Vista Theater. They also play movies in the WD Theater). The level of how noticeable and disruptiveness the noise was, was terrible IMHO. They were showing the movie Thor several times during our cruise. This is a very loud ACTION movie and we could CLEARLY hear and FEEL the loud bass in our room. And one night they just STARTED this nearly 2 hour movie at 10:30PM!! so it was still very noticeable and bothersome at 12:00 MIDNIGHT. We politely complained to Guest Services and they offered to move us to a different room since the cruise was not sold out. We declined since we were only on a 3 nt cruise, but told them we wanted them to just know how disruptive and noticeable the noise actually was from within the room.

Notes: This was our 11th cruise on Disney. Worst stateroom ever. Nice balcony 3x the normal size BUT , noise from 6h pm to midnight every night. Deck supervisor came to check it out. They tried to move a surround sound speaker from above us but they couldnt . Room just above theatre so in between shows and after they do rehearsal. Room was also very narrow, but that might be just an illusion. Nice balcony if you plan do not be in your stateroom from 6h pm to midnight. I even asked to be transfer to an inside stateroom, that is how bad i wanted to sleep but they were sold out.

Notes: Great location, is one of the oversized veranda rooms which is great! You could sometimes hear the bass from the shows in the Walt Disney Theater but it was never a bother to us, and only happened during the shows. I would definitely recommend this room!
