Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 5040

Notes: We have previously stayed on deck 5 forward starboard and loved it….we will never stay deck 5 forward port again! We wanted to stay here because of the extended verandah, but this room location on port was terrible. The noise from the Walt Disney Theater was LOUD. While not as much of an issue during the evening (as we were at dinner or a show ourselves) the shows during the day pretty much kept us out of our rooms. Room vibrated and bass was too loud for kids to nap. The evenings were worse with teens running up and down the hallway outside of Vibe every night usually until 1-2 am. They ripped lights off of our door (breaking them) and messed with magnets nightly. We ended up having to pull everything off of door. Called security and also complained to Vibe, but this was a nightly occurrence as they would run down hallway between Buena Vista Theater & Vibe….every night. We did not have any of these problems staying in same room on starboard side year before. We won’t stay port again!

Notes: Very convenient location. Improved cabin storage including storage ottoman and plenty of room under the bed for 4-6 large suitcases. Sofa converts to single bed. Spacious veranda with four chairs and cocktail table. Magnifying mirror in the split shower bath, two retractable clothes lines in the shower. Dimmer switches on cabin lights. No problems with noise.
