Notes: Stayed in this room for a 9 night cruise in Europe. While the location was nice, the noises were not. The deck above us was washed every morning at 4am and the pressure wash hose is located in the wall and in runs somewhere along the wall of our room. Every time the service man squeezed the hose trigger we would hear a loud thump and it was loud enough to keep you awake. |

Notes: First off the location is excellent if you need to get to the kids club! Just down the hall. Food is up or down stairs and so easy to get to! If you are a light sleeper do not choses this room. There is strange noices that come from next door. It didn't really bother us so much and we were upgraded to this room. The crew door is right across the hall, but we never heard the door slam. Other then the strange noises it is a quite end of the ship and you don't really hear anyone else. We would stay in this room again for the easy access to everything we needed! |

Notes: The room was in a bit of illrepair but it was heading to drydock. The seas were rough most of the trip back and the ships stabilizers are behind the wall of this room. This means there is a bang on the wall every 7-20 minutes depending on the roughness of the sea. We compleained but were told there was nothing that could be done. They were sold out and it was a TransAtlantic cruise. |

Notes: The crew's entrance to deck is directly across & NOBODY (even officers) would see that door didn't slam, even after repeated requests in hall & at purser's desk! Noise even at 2:00-3:00-4:00 AM!! Just back from drydock & room was never completed before sailing. Items (rail edge, deck trim, interior trim) still laying around & not put on. Curtains not up, bathtub not completely caulked. Toilets overflowed throughout ship. Crazy ridiculous. Never again. You should avoid it at all costs. |

Deck: 5 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 03/27/10 | ||
Notes: This was the perfect room! No neighbors on one side.
YOu have the movie theatre and kids clubs on the same floor. The bathrooms for the theatre are right outside the room and rarely used. It was like having an extra bathrrom if you needed one.
I see other people mentioned noise, but we never experienced that. If I am ever on this ship again, I will definitely request this room. I just felt it was centrally located to everything. |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 5122 | Condition: 5 |
Deck: 5 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 12/07/06 | ||
Notes: The room was great and the location was perfect for us - we were right by the aft staircase and elevators. The location was quiet without a lot of traffic in the hallway. We had read about a noise that could be heard in the room, but we didn't hear anything. We loved the location so much, we rebooked the room on our next cruise. |

Notes: Compared to my last (and first) cruise on another line, this room was far superior. I loved the verandah, which gave us great views of docking, watching the pilot boat (right under lifeboats). Being it is first verandah, you don't get second hand smoke if neighbour is outside smoking. Room is convenient to theatre, kids activities (if you have them, we did not) stairs and elevators. Short trips to shutters and restaurants.
We did experience some flooding on verandah during rain, but it was cleaned up promptly. There is some noise (especially during lunchtime from the kids as they march down the hall to the back stairs). But if you're not in, you won't know! The mechanical noise comes from a pump of some sort in a svc room, but we quickly learned to tune it out. It may bother some light sleepers. We loved the room, and would pick the same room again on next cruise! |

Notes: The room location was wonderfully convenient--right next to the elevator banks and it was usually quite easy to get an elevator going up or down. The carpet was a bit worn, but the room was otherwise in good repair. The veranda was rusty and usually had standing water. There was a great deal of noise from the public restroom next door. |
Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 5122 | Condition: 3 |
Deck: 5 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
Sail Date: 05/14/05 | ||
Notes: Very noisy room! There is some kind of equipment or possibly freight elevator (?) next to the room that makes a loud hum off and on at all times of day or night. Also there's banging in the middle of the night, possibly due to crew cleaning/fixing stuff on deck below, or working on lifeboats (which are next to this cabin). Location is super convenient but if noise bothers you, don't pick this one. |

Notes: I gave this room a 4 because there is a noise it is not all the time and never really bothered us but seems to really bug some people |
Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 5122 | Condition: 5 |

Notes: convenient to almost everything. Great for people with kids in the clubs, very close to Flounders and the theatre.
Noisy, from staff in closet adjacent and some grinding noise under us.
Theatre bathrooms nextdoor, gave us an extra bathroom at times! |
