Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5126 Condition: 2
Deck: 5 Category: 5C Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 02/21/23

Notes: Sailing Feb 21, 2024 (2024 is not an available selection) Sailing party of 2. Cabin sleeps 3 (sofabed) Worst room we've stayed in. Lots of wear and tear. Very scratched up table. Poor structural integrity of sofa - like it would be in a basement or garage if in someone's home. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom showed lots of age. Small veranda with dirty glass. LOUD room. There is a mechanical noise about every 2 minutes that is obvious but isn't too bad if you aren't a light sleeper. However, there were creaky panels and on the last night there was a loud pumping mechanical sound that went on all night. Will never book an aft room again as I felt sea sick on one night which never happens but you can definitely feel more motion at the back of the boat. Any time the winds were high or water was rough, the cabin creaked all night. Our room host kept things clean, but these rooms desperately need a refurb. We booked VGT so we took what we got, but it was the worst cruise we've been on with Disney.

Notes: This room was in a fabulous location however on the second night the room had a loud motor noise with vibration that squeaked for about 10 seconds every 7 minutes the entire length of the cruise. The noise was resolved only when dry docked on the last day and we could not be moved due to be overbooked. I would avoid this room in the future which is disappointing because the location and quiet hallway is nice however we did not get a wink of sleep even with earplugs and a sleep fan app.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 5126 Condition: 3
Deck: 5 Category: 6 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 01/21/09

Notes: Noisy room. Sounded like a pump would come on every 10 minutes or so and last about 10 seconds. There was a door nearby marked CO2 so I guess that may be the culprit. I would think 5124 would hear it too.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 5126 Condition: 4
Deck: 5 Category: 6 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 08/10/06

Notes: There was a strange noise lasting about 5 seconds about every 15 minutes, which sounded like some sort of pump turning on. The air conditioning did not cool very well until we called maintenance, but this was quickly repaired. It was very convenient to the Buena Vista Theater and the restaurants below. We also used the "hidden" aft stateroom stairwell a few times.
