Notes: When I found out I was on Deck 5, I wasn't really happy, having written it off in my head as a noise (kids) floor. I WAS SO WRONG!! There aren't nearly as many people on the floor, it has access to so much, and I found I loved, loved, loved access to goings-on just by walking down the hall. You really feel connected to the rest of the ship versus the floors of only staterooms. That was a new element for Disney Cruise Lines in my views. Great access to stairs and elevators. Like my review for 7131, I got this room with GTY. For this one, I had put in for 2 small portholes and got upgraded to white wall verandah. I love the verandah rooms, often bringing back a plate of fruit to sit outside in privacy to read. The white wall is the reason for the 4, not a 5 rating. Sitting down, I could not see out over the water. Still, I was outside in the sun and wind and standing up is not such a hardship to kvetch about a white wall verandah that I got in a terrific upgrade. Loved the location of the room. The room itself was great. No problems with it at all. Again, no movement being aft. |

Notes: We were upgraded to this room from a category 9. White wall veranda. Small amount of water on it the one morning, but not a big deal. No upper bed. Worked great for three of us. Has split bath so 2 people can get ready at the same time. We found the aft to be very convenient to the upper decks. We took the back stairs many times. Quiet room. Very pleased with it. |

Notes: The room was very nice and quiet. The only difference with this verandah is that the bottom half is metal instead of clear, but it didnýt really matter to us. It actually gave us a little privacy while docked at port. The stateroom is very convenient to the aft elevators, which is directly under Topsider buffet and the Mickey pool. The Buena Vista theatre is just down the hall. We stayed around the adult pool for most of the trip, so that was on the complete opposite side of the ship, but we didnýt mind the walk. We were very happy with our room. Our side of the ship had a great view of Castaway Cay. |
