Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5164 Condition: 3
Deck: 5 Category: 4E Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 02/07/15

Notes: We had connecting rooms 5162/5164. I would give both rooms a 3. The main issue was on nights 4 and 5. We were going quite fast, 21.4 knots w/ a 45mph headwind, so not great seas. On those two nights the bed vibrated extremely badly. One other dis member on board staying in room 10650 (10th floor but right above 5162/5164 if you look at the room map) also had the same issue. He described it as "vibrating like a cheap motel bed that you put a quarter in". Many people on the same sailing did not have this vibrating, it seems to be limited to this specific area of the ship. The other 5 nights were much better, but because of these vibration issues I would not book in this area of the ship again. However, if you aren't sailing very fast (so the 3 or 4 night dream bahama sailings) and the seas are calm you may not have this issue. I did like the extra big verandah and did not feel privacy was an issue as you could sit further back if you wanted privacy. Honestly I would think the verandah's on floor 6 right above the extended 5th floor verandah's had less privacy because we could see their entire verandah if we chose too, whereas we could hide under the eave on our verandah :)

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5164 Condition: 4

Notes: Awesome view as it is the last extended veranda cabin on the port side of the ship. However, the cabin was very noisy - lots of creaking and knocking. We also felt lots of vibrations - likely from the ship's stabilizers. Too bad - loved the extended deck but will not book this stateroom again due to all of the noise. For what it's worth, we are not first time cruisers. This is the creakiest cabin we have ever sailed in.

Notes: Excellent, would recommand 100%, very happy with room, great location close to aft elevators they are way faster (less lines) , close to kids club which is great. I'am going to book this again. I never noticed noise from clubs and we had a young child so in bed early, and we are light sleepers.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5164 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 4E Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 02/09/13

Notes: I stayed in this room with my 8 yr old son. The extended balcony was breathtaking! It does not have a second bunk so it would not be suitable for a family of 4. It was wonderfully quiet and convenient because the kids clubs are just around the corner. I would love to book this room again in the future. I lucked out as I ended up with this beautiful room on a VGT booking. I'm not sure the exact category of the room but I guessed since it wouldn't allow me to post without the info.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5164 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 4E Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 08/19/12

Notes: Extremely convenient to Aft elevators; Very quiet; View from balcony is amazing as the balcony is the last one in the row so you get a 270 degree view; Had a couple problems with patrons above us throwing things down onto the balcony as it is larger; Extremely close to kids programs if you have children - so very convenient, but still not noisy; Everything in good working order; Pull out bed very uncomfortable - but this is not limited to this stateroom as this is a problem ship wide; Cabin is a bit cramped for three and is slightly smaller than other Cat 4 cabins - same size as Cat 5 but with larger balcony; Split bathroom very convenient; Bathrooms provided enough room; Overall, very pleased and would book this particular cabin again for the view and convenience of location.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5164 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 5A Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 01/31/12

Notes: This room was fabulous. Our son was in a wheelchair due to a broken leg 5 days prior to sailing. Wheelchair would not fit in room but that was totally our fault due to the last minute injury. Very convenient for our son to get the kids club. Room was in awesome condition. Plenty of room and lots of storage. Bathroom was very nice. Due to tight quarters my son was able to hop around and get where he wanted to be. I would LOVE to have this room again. View was amazing.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5164 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 5 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 05/01/11

Notes: Very convenient location, especially to the clubs and restaurants. Very large balcony with 2 chairs, 2 loungers and a table. Very quiet, even at night despite the close proximity to the clubs. Great stateroom host! We enjoyed having a great view of the docking and tethering process as well. We would book this room again in a heartbeat. One thing to note is there is no pull down bed, so this room would only be able to sleep 3.
