Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 5182

Notes: Our party had this stateroom and connecting 5184. They are cat 6B, but that was not a drop down choice above. We were initially concerned when assigned these staterooms because they are directly above the Tube, but we never heard any noise from there. However, be aware that aft staterooms on the Fantasy have significant issues with vibration when at sea. If that just puts you to sleep as it does me, then there’s no problem. But it may really bother some folks. And we had to take precautions such as securing unused clothes hangers so they didn’t rattle around. Also, thrusters going into/out of port really give you a good shaking. Otherwise, it was a quiet hallway without much traffic, and is convenient to Cabanas, Palo/Remy, the laundry, and the kids clubs if those are important to you.

Notes: This room was great, loved the veranda, close to the kids club, but far enough away that we didn't have the people passing by our room. The only down side of this room was that is was right over Evolution Dance Club and from 11:00 pm - 2:00 am you can hear the music and feel the vibration like you were at the club. It really didn't bother us as we were so exhausted that we slept through it but if you are a lite sleeper I would suggest another deck.

Notes: The room itself was awesome! Great size with lots of storage space. Had adjoining rooms 5182 & 5184. It was like a big suite. Nice balcony with a shower rinse off. HOWEVER...I wish I read the report(s) on this room LONG before sailing. The location was terrible! IT/ THEY were LOUD!! Evolution, the night club, is DIRECTLY below and the bass was pumpin' every night! The ONLY thing that kept me from blowing my top was that we were ALL so tired that I was too tired to get really mad. (If the kids couldn't sleep...there'd have been big trouble.) I did go to the front desk to complain @ 1:45AM on the 2nd night (just to get it on record. I know the boat was full and they wouldn't switch 2 rooms, but I had to say something:) So I would suggest not booking these rooms unless you just don't care about the noise. I was happy to book the cruise and get the adjoining rooms that I failed to look in depth at its location. I hope this helps others avoid the same mistake. Other than the noise...AWESOME cruise! FYI- Hot Tubs/Jacuzzis kill Sea Lice from Castaway Cay. Don't let it ruin your trip. Use the Hot Tubs :)

Notes: Wow, this room is noisy at night. Everything is fine until DJ starts aroung 10:30 in the bar below. We did get moved at 10:45 pm. The bass is so bad stuff was moving on the night tables.
