Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5190 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 6B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 12/05/16

Notes: The access to the laundry room was very convenient but you can hear excess noice from it. Closing the laundry room door would help but I could not figure out how. It was always propped open. There was some banging from above at random times throughtout the cruise. Also I did hear the club but only one night and very faint to me. No issue getting to bed. No issues with motion, no vibrating, no smoke on verandah. I did report a broken verandah lock. Not an issue for us. There is no bunk bed just a sofa bed and regular bed. aft elevators were great - mostly empty. Overall it was a good room.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5190 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 6B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 11/16/13

Notes: Great location. Convenience of laundry was surprisingly useful. Some noise once or twice from loud people in laundry/hall. Aft elevators much less crowded, and nice to be on kids club level. Verandah view was great, and very private except briefly when flags changed in port from access next to 5192. Cool to see flag change we thought. No noise from clubs below, and only twice during the 7 days did I notice signficant rumbling/vibration from whatever the ship was doing at the time (coming into port). Loved this room and connecting 5192, and have rebooked them for a 2015 cruise! Note - two or three times we did have some smoke smell on verandah, I assume coming from a DSA on deck 4 somewhere. Not strong enough to be a concern though!

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5190 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 6B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 09/28/13

Notes: We were skeptical of this room when we booked it because of the reviews here. Let me summarize by saying we were all pleasantly surprised. We didn't notice the engine noise that was mentioned elsewhere at all. 2 nights we could hear the club under us but it wasn't enough to really bother anyone. We are a family of 6; 4 kids (9,7,6,2) and it didn't keep any of us up. Views off the balcony are amazing and there is tons of space. Loved this room and will be booking it again.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5190 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 6B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 01/19/13

Notes: Positives: Close to laundry room, gorgeous view, quiet end-of-hall location, and deck 5 being half-way up minimizes stair-climbing. Negatives: The smell of cigarette smoke on the veranda from neighbors (could happen on any verandah). Also, we could hear our next door neighbors through the connecting door, though not as loudly or clearly as on the Magic/Wonder. As to noise reported by other cruisers, we only noticed engine noise and vibration when leaving port. We heard some low-level noise from the entertainment below us, but that happened probably twice, and not enough to keep us awake. Quiet and comfortable, overall. About us: We are pretty easy-going cruisers. We expect good quality and service, but not perfection. We would not hesitate to book this stateroom again.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5190 Condition: 1
Deck: 5 Category: 6B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 01/05/13

Notes: From the time we pulled out of port the engine noise and vibration was so bad that by midnight the first night we demanded to be moved ( which they did to a room on level 7 midship) Location wise it was close to the laundry rooms and kids club. Would NEVER book this room again

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5190 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 6B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 06/30/12

Notes: We were very happy with our room. Had seen reviews of noise from the club below, but can't say we heard any of it all week. I'm prone to be motion sick and had no problems with the minimal movement in our room during the week. Foot traffic is very minimal as the hall ends 1 door past this room. The laundry room is directly across the hall, which was extremely convenient and easy to use. For 2 adults and 1 child in the room, we had plenty of drawer and closet space.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5190 Condition: 4
Deck: 5 Category: 6B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 06/09/12

Notes: The location of this stateroom is incredible! It is on the back of the ship overlooking Dumbo and across from the laundry Room. It is close to the kids club/lab and there is very little traffic or noise from outside the hall. It also has an oversized verandah which was even better when opened up with our other stateroom (5192) There is a strong vibration from the thrustors or prop on the first who day and when docking or leaving port but it wasn't enough to bother us, it was actually kinda soothing to me & we had no problem sleeping with it. The music from the Tube didn't bother us until day 3 when the guest DJ showed up and his bass kept me up all night (230AM). The rest of the family had no problem falling asleep or staying asleep, only me (I am a light sleeper and have inomnia on occasion). I think if I had ear plugs I would have been fine. Also a con- this room doesn't have the pull down bunk above the couch. My kids were a bit dissappointed.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5190 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 6B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 12/12/11

Notes: Condition of room was very clean. During day room very quiet and no hall traffic. Different story at night. I could hear boom boom boom of music from deck 4 club. In bathroom you could hear actual music. I also got sick from motion due to aft location combined with head cold. Veranda was large and private. I would not choose this room again.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5190 Condition: 4
Deck: 5 Category: 6 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 01/26/11

Notes: Loved the location of this room! It is across the hall from the laundry room. However, there was minimal traffic in the hall. It has a good sized verandah with minimal wind and is covered. Since the ship usually pulls into Port aft-first, you get a good view of the port. This was wonderful at Castaway Cay! Possible downside - this room is directly above the club, Evolution. You can definitely hear the bass through the floor; however, this did NOT prevent us from getting a full night's sleep every night of our cruise. We have booked the same room for the MV of the Fantasy.
