Notes: The stateroom was clean and tidy. Very happy with the large porthole. We were able to see Castaway Cay when we docked. The main issue was the premiere of Captain America that they played late into the night in the Walt Disney Theater below. It lasted until 12:30 two nights and 1:30 one another night. They offered to move us but we were with a group and didn't want to be separated. If I had small children I would have really been upset because they wouldn't be able to sleep. The walls shook when the movie was playing. |

Notes: The room its self would have been alright but first there was a moldy-musty smell that was very strong upon entering the room which lingered even after an air purifer was bought in. The smell lingered but then it started to smell like sewage. They wiped down the walls to try to refresh the room but that didn't help. We also had all the bedding changed. We didn't notice the noise from the WD Theatre because we had the air purifer going the whole time were had the room, which also took up space in our room. We ended up changing rooms once we got to St. Croix our first stop. We were upgraded to a cat 6 because the previous tenets left the ship at St. Croix otherwise we would be stuck in the stinky room.
Convenient to the kids clubs and the BV Theatre. Nice being right in the middle of the ship because taking the stairs was so easy especially after the shows in the WD Theatre. |

Notes: We loved this room, it was a free upgrade from a caegory 11! We loved the window and the location was good. The only downside was being right above the Walt Disney Theater, during the day when they were rehearsing you could hear the music and base. But it wasnt that bad. Over all a great room! |

Notes: This room is all the way forward, and there was next to no hall traffic outside our door, only the crew. They did let the crew door slam at all hours of the day and night, but we got used to it quickly, and stopped hearing it. This cabin is directly over the Walt Disney Theatre, and you do hear the bass and loud noises, not just during performances, but late morning rehearsals as well (10-ish). It didn't bother us, and probably wouldn't bother a napping baby either. We liked the proximity to the kids' clubs. Loved the big picture window. The theatre is a quick flight downstairs; the spa, workout facilities and adult pool are all just quick trip upstairs.
My suitcases would not fit under the bed, though I think the carryons would; nested them together and stashed them in the closet. No plumbing problems, all the gadgets and outlets worked.
We liked this room very much and have rebooked it for our next cruise! |
