Notes: We spent 23 nights in that room for the Norwegian/Iceland and Northern European cruises. OMG!! if you can get a different room I would recommend it. It is located right over the subwoofers of the Walt Disney Theater (we took the back stage tour they offered). During the shows or rehearsal sessions you will hear the beat of the base in the music and even feel the vibration at times if sitting on the couch or are in bed. The night they had the 12:01 premier of Ant Man playing we had to wear ear plugs--we opted not to go since we had an early meeting time for our St. Petersburg tour the next day. I made a comment after the first cruise on the comment card and we were treated to a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and thanked for our feedback. During the second cruise the housekeeping Supervisor just happened to catch me in the room and I told him about the noise. He asked if I reported it to guest services and I said I would just note it on the comment card. He apologized and again said to inform Guest Services for any problems. The next day he call our room and said he wanted to make me an offer of a meal at Palo for the room inconvenience. O.K. now for the lay-out: walk in and the couch and "coffee" table is directly ahead of you. To the left is the bathroom with closet directly across from it. To the right of the entry is the bed with headboard the same as the back of the couch. Foot of the bed is the vanity with stool (not much room to use it). To the right of the vanity is a cabinet about 4' high with doors and shelves and to the right of that was the T.V. with refrig beneath it and a cabinet with 2 shelves behind doors above the T.V. The phone was on the nightstand between the bed and couch and the opposite side of the bed had a drawered night stand. We both use C-paps and had outlets available at the nightstand. Plenty of room under the bed for suitcase storage or even in the closet. |

Notes: The cabin was clean and well appointed and would have scored an excellent were it not for the noise. Situated directly above the theatre we often felt that the performers were in the cabin with us. Not a problem when we were out of the cabin, but often the rehearsals took place in the mornings or late after the show, when we found it disturbed our sleep. There was also loud rattling machinery noise behind the bulkhead whenever the theatre was in use. I would not book this cabin again because of the noise and I am a very light sleeper. |

Notes: Sideways inside stateroom. Quiet except when they are using the Walt Disney Theater. Location is good. |

Notes: This was a sideways room and we liked it alot. We had 2 adults, 4 and 8 year old boys and we overpacked and the room still had enough space for us. We were only in the room when sleeping for the most part so it worked out great. The room was very quiet when there were no shows or show practice going on. They did practice a few different mornings at 7 am and you can hear it pretty clear. Overall, we were very happy with the room and would book it again. |

Notes: My parents had this room and thought it was just great. It was a sideways room and seemed a little bit more room than the longways cat 11's. They had no problems with noise and in fact said they slept like babies since they had total darkness. They liked the location being only 1 floor above the theatre so close to shows. |

Notes: Our cabin was at the very end of Forward on the left side of the hall. There were no one next to us but there were "hall" noise coming from the "crew only" doors. it slams hard. The other noise that we can hear loud & clear were from shows at the Walt Disney Theatre directly beneath us. During "At Sea" days there are matinee shows in the theatre (2:00pm). It was hard to get the little ones to take a nap because you can literally hear the entire show from this cabin. If you're not in the room at that time, then this shouldn't be a problem. Overall I thought this room was comfortable. No portholes, just an inside stateroom. Very convenient to the Theatre below, just one flight down in the Forward stairs. I liked the cabin overall. |
